This is a great product. It operates for the indicate 10 minutes, goes dormant and then reactivates. I have a herd of cats running in the den chasing this light. I am actually thinking of getting a second to have 2 targets for 6 cats.The only issue is that it gets a little dicy when the light ends up on one of the cats and the others see it/chase it.

UPDATE: Wrote a review literally days ago, I bought this item for the 3RD time on December 1st and it just stopped working AGAIN, never dropped it or anything, just stopped working. Today, January 22nd, it turned on for literally 5 seconds and was making a weird noise and turned off, I thought it was dead but when I turned it on the laser was stuck in the same spot, I plugged it in, and after an hour it still wasn't moving. I'm not ordering again.My cats absolutely love this product, we've bought multiple different lasers in the past and they never really played with any of them until we found this one. My only problem is that we've bought 3 over the course of 1 year. The first one was our fault, we couldn't find a good place to attach it which led to the cats constantly knocking it over until it broke, the second one however, was never dropped at all and one day just stopped working, third one is still up and good

This toy has helped tremendously. I have two Bengal cats that are highly highly active and energetic and hard to keep up with. We put this toy on one of our mirrors in our dining area and we just press the button and let it go. The only downside is that the battery seems to not last too long so we do have to charge it pretty often. It is nice that it does turn on every 10 minutes though and it does seem to keep them occupied.

I got this toy for my kitten and had it for 5 months. It worked nicely for awhile but after a few drops it quit the moving function, so now it is just a plain laser as of a couple weeks ago. I tried taking it apart to see if I could fix it but I did not have a special screw driver to do so. Two things to note: do not attach this to the window in your bedroom or you will be woken up to the whirring sound. Also, the charge lasts for about a day and a half. Charging is very quick though.1) the suction cup worked terribly for me. I even tried my classic trick of boiling the suction cup along with cleaning the surface witg rubbing alcohol and that only helped a little. At one point I tried to make a little hanging harness to attach it to the cieling but this proved to be too much of a hassle for charging.2) getting the manual function to turn on was a hassle.3) the range is pretty bad for where the laser can point for its circle. If you can get the suction to work, then it is wonderful. I had problems with that however, and unfortunately if you just set the laser on a bookshelf it would cut off half of the laser path. I managed to get it to work by tilting the base with staggered books.I am going to try a different laser toy to keep my boy entertained

the pattern goes all over the place...up and down...so unless you want your cat jumping up and onto everything, better supervise a little....the recharge feature is nice, and the laser looks good, though.

Very good product my cat love it have fun all day
