Why is this listed on the Amazon UK site??? WARNING: if in UK, DO NOT PURCHASE!!! Found when opening it that it comes with USA/European plug and runs at 120v only (UK is 240v). Daren't try it out in case the motor burns out! Hidden away it also states there is NO Brother warranty on this product (so it does not comply with our UK The Consumer Rights Act 2015)!

Als Erstes: weder bin ich Techniker, noch bin ich Näher. Die Maschine ist für meine Tochter. Die hatte plötzlich das Nähen als Hobby entdeckt. Da es nicht das erste Hobby war und ich nicht wieder lauter teures Zeugs dafür kaufen wollte, hatte ich mir eine Einsteigermaschine vorgestellt. Spätestens von dem Tag an, als der Einfädler in 4 Teile auseinanderfiel, für die man zum Zusammenbauen 3 Hände in einem Bereich für eine gebraucht hätte, drängte sich mir der Verdacht auf, zu billig gekauft zu haben. Wir haben das bei einem Profi für 20€ erledigen lassen. Beim nächsten Problem, nur wenige Wochen später, stand für mich die Entscheidung für eine bessere Maschine fest. Eine Kollegin nähte seit Jahren ihre Kleidung selbst, die gab mir mehr guten Rat mit, als ich behalten konnte. Mich begeisterte bei dieser Maschine zu allererst der automatische Einfädler (wen wundert‘s), aber 27 Programme fand ich auch beeindruckend. In Absprache mit meiner Tochter kaufte ich die Brother und habe es bisher nicht bereut. Nachdem 1. Ausprobieren kam meine Tochter total begeistert, mit lauter Liebesherzen in den Augen, aus ihrem Zimmer gestürmt. In der folgenden Zeit machte sie glücklicherweise noch ihre Schulsachen, nach einem Monat hatte sie auch wieder Zeit für ihre Freunde. Die Maschine hat bisher keine Macken oder Probleme, es wurden auch schon dickere Stoffe problemlos bearbeitet, das Handling ist gut durchdacht und fast intuitiv zu durchschauen. Ein paar Programme hat die schon benutzt - keine Klagen, alles gut. Diese Maschine ist auf jeden Fall das Richtige für Einsteiger. Ich werde versuchen, nach einem Jahr etwas zur Haltbarkeit nachzutragen.

No soy un experto de las máquinas de coser, el uso que le doy es principalmente para hacer dobladillos ocasionales y debo decir que la experiencia de uso es agradable y fácil, se cose muy bien y tiene muchas funciones y accesorios que ni siquiera he probado. Hasta ahora lo único que se me ha complicado un poco es cuando se trata de telas más gruesas porque la 'cosa' que sujeta la tela la aprieta tanto que no permite seguir moviendo la tela hacia atrás, pero realmente no es un error, en el manual te indican que levantes ligeramente la 'cosa' con la mano, así que es cuestión de práctica.

AMAZING . So easy to set up the thread and bobin . It's pretty . Not to heavy. Lots of diffrent stiches to choose from easy to figure out . Comes with easy instructions and theres plenty of videos online with easy to follow instructions for the exact machine, if you aren't able to understand them to well. It work very smoothly so far . I love it so much . Highly recommend, especially if you're new to sewing it's easy to use for beginners. The tension seem good as well and if you test it on a peice of scrap fabric first anytime you start a project and are messing around with the tension it's pretty easy to use and figure out. The presser foot is very good easy to figure out the perfect speed on.
