Compact Surge Protection That Fits Perfectly Behind a Wall-Mounted TV
This Clamper Store single-outlet surge protector was exactly what I needed for my new 100" wall-mounted TV. Most higher-rated units (2000+ Joules) are bulky power strips with long cords—not ideal for a clean, flush install. This plug is compact, smart-looking, and sits neatly behind the TV without interfering with the mount. The indicator light shows it’s active, and I trust it to do the job as claimed. For anyone with a similar wall-mount setup, this is a simple, effective solution.Highly Recommended Buy

Disappoint with product.
Disappoint with this product. Used the device to protect a new microwave. After it had been installed for approx. 2 weeks it failed no longer permitting any power through to the microwave. Since all the other surge protectors in our home did not report any power issues. Though it now pass refund windows I hope to still receive a free replacement iClamper since it is it is my belief this unit is defective.

Great value for money. Looking fantastic and works great!
I got the clear version 2-pack and I am very happy. I'm using one for my hifi equipment rack and there is no degradation to the sound, and I feel much safer now as recently (before I added these surge protectors) 2 of my preamplifiers blew up. The unit has a nice LED/light on it (white in my case) which is nice and bright. If you do not like bright lights (like in your bedroom) you can put a little piece of black tape over it. I like it though! Great value for money, definitely recommend!

Super Noise Reduction
I was looking for something to take the static out of my audio system. I suspected it was my computer. Used a few different surge protector/line conditioner products but only got a small help from a Pyle 150J Surge Protector Power Strip - 9 Outlet - 15 Amp - 1U Rack Mount with AC Filter - PCO850. Installed this between the computer and the outlet and the buzz/hum/static disappeared. Now I have a silent background for all my music. Buying a second one...

3 of 4 dead after 2 months
I feel compelled to write a review after having 3 of 4 of these fail within 2 months (no linger returnable or I would). One never worked to begin with so the quality control is not good. The other 2 shut off on separate devices: 1 a 1500W hot water kettle (that one blew the stinky electrical smoke that smells like dead electronics) and the other on a battery charger that was drawing well under 1000W.I’ve used another brand for years without an issue and thought these would work great with the 90 degree turn. These just are not made with any sense of quality and the 90 turn takes up a lot of space. Try something else.Update (a few months later): These are not safe at all - all 4 are now dead and the last one sent out a nice puff of smoke before dying. fortunately I was nearby and quickly flipped off the breaker. These are dangerous and I’m switching back to the reputable brand I’ve never had a single issue with. Not worth the risk - please do not use these!

Neat concept, good clamp voltage, totally misleading ratings.
The clear design makes inspection a breeze!Typically for a 125v outlet, you want less than 400v clamping voltage. This means it won't let the voltage go much beyond this limit. It suppresses the surge.Unfortunately the specs are not listed on the page, but the stickers applied to the device also don't make sense.Advertised Ratings are 1800j, 1200v L-N, and 1500v L-G/N-G. Pretty wild numbers.Since they are clear... You can inspect them! They contain S14K175 varistors. These have a clamping voltage of 270v. Respectable fair numbers and will help protect most electronics. But they are only rated for 46joules. Not terribly surprising, almost all consumer surge suppressors are completely falsified.MOVs are also protected by a thermal fuse to prevent fire when they reach end of life, and there is a arc suppressing fuse, though it is unclear if that is series with load or suppression circuit.Good point of use device. Recommend having a larger suppressor at the panel to take the bulk, these will pick up the residual.
