These are well constructed, lightweight yet robust, with clear, accurate +1.5 dioptre full lenses rather than bifocal. Testing them against similar strength standard readers these are absolutely fine , with crystal clear view and no distortion in the lens manufacture that I could discern. In use they're comfortable and also non-slip, feeling secure once on, even when shaking my head or at awkward angles. Overall I have confidence these will last and make my woodworking both safer and more accurate - in fact I'm so impressed I just ordered a +2 pair for closer, detail work. Great to see some true quality in a product amidst a sea of cheap Chinese knock-offs and disappointingly high-cost alternatives. Well done to Pyramex (a US brand based in Tennessee) - easy to recommend!

Scratch a little easily

Not the most fashionable.....However keeps management happy, and I can read drawings.

Very comfy to wear for long periods. Good clarity with x1.5 magnification. Good area of protection around the eyes so feel confident any swarf won’t easily enter eyes. They get dropped and lie around when not being used and no signs of scuffs or scratches on the Lenses . Happy with my purchase and price.

Quality well made glasses but excellent value, full frame readers, safety rated with good side protection.

These are a good alternative to optomatrist safety glasses. They fit my large head well. Only complaint is they fit so close to my face, air doesn't circulate and they fog up in the cool weather.

Sad to say but I now need readers as me and my eyes get on in age - ces't la vie! I work as a maintenance mechanic and many times during the day I'm using grinders and the drill press and various other tools that require safety glasses. Lately I've needed wear readers to see the finer details when using this equipment - that has prompted me to either use just my readers as a safety glasses (which isn't really safe) or put safety glasses over my readers (which is really awkward feeling). I searched Amazon for these and took a chance on them. They seem to be a really solid set of safety glasses but are fairly light weight (a good thing!). The optics are really clear and seem to be the correct strength. Overall, a really good buy.
