Why did you pick this product vs others?: I love the Lamel Matte Gel Lip Liner Pencil! I got this in the 410 Pink Taupe and the color was perfect! It was not a s dark as the color on the display or the end of the pencil, but I was happy for this, as I did not want a dark lip liner. This color is neutral and goes with anything. I like that you can use it as a lip liner or for all over color! I liked that it was easy and smooth to apply. The color did not feather. It felt good and weightless on my lips. I loved that it did not dry out my lips. If you want shine, you can apply clear or colored lip gloss with this. I also really loved that this is truly long lasting. I did not have any issues with the tip breaking like others mentioned. You do need a sharpener for this. I would repurchase hase this lip liner again and I'm really happy with my purchase. I would highly recommend.

This lip liner goes on smoothly with a creamy feeling not drying. It dries matte but I add lip gloss and is so beautiful. It didn't last all day for me, but it does last a few hours. I loved the pigmentation. Would recommend it not pricey at all, very affordable.

I'm gonna start off with constructive criticism then give my final thoughts. When I first opened the product, I noticed a chemical smell and tried to swatch it then it broke. Now that could be due to the creaminess of the pencil &/or the weather, as I live in the Midwest and it's a little cold at the moment. I tried sharpening the pencil and it wouldn't come to a sharp point, like I would've preferred, but I decided to try it on anyway. I applied it on my whole lip area and noticed it was creamy and felt it looked a little patchy but I still gave it a chance and layered it a bit. I was shocked because it dried down BEAUTIFULLY! It was matte and didn't budge! It left a stain, which is ideal for me because I plan to wear it during the holidays which means I will eat with it on. I even ate a greasy deep dish pizza and it only came off slightly on my bottom inner lip, which is better than I expected. Once dried down, the smell was gone as well. Overall, I did really like the lipliner and I will continue to use this product and will more than likely buy it again and try more colors. I do recommend giving it a try. It's a really nice, comfortable, "barely there" feeling product! Also, the red runs a little more warm on me and leans more orange than a true red but I like that because I'm warm toned

This is a good price for the lip liner! It’s super creamy and easy to apply, is not dry and doesn’t drag on the lips. It works as either a liner or to fill in lips, and sharpens easy. In terms of staying power, I like to use liners in conjunction with petroleum based balms, like aquaphor, which unfortunately makes them fade quicker. This liner is the same, and I don’t fault them for that though. Without a lot of extra glossy or balmy product on top, it does last well! Even with snacking and drinking water. The color I purchased wasn’t quite right for me as a liner (too light for my lips) but i just fill in my lips more with the liner and it works. I think this shade would work for a wide range of skin tones, lighter than mine (which is a medium/ medium-light)
