Just hooked up the system and I was impressed. Placing it in a cabinet adds to the resonance of the sound. Perfect for the space we have. Plays one CD great. Now we can use all those CDs we made and purchased. The radio was only fair, but with my subscription to Sirius XM I have tons of channels. My Bluetooth and phone pairing was easy and I can play Spotify and similar streaming methods for hours of listening. Very happy with this purchase. Only one day use so far, but off to a good start.

For a sub $100 stereo this thing is fine. Sound quality is decent (again considering price). The functionality is ok but about slow. The worst thing about this unit is the remote has very little range and power. You have to be directly in front and not too far away. I'm not going to be handing this unit down to my grandchildren, it's a little too flimsy to last decades but for $80-90 it's pretty good.

Needed to buy a compact stereo. This Sharp XL-B512 stereo - CD player sounds great! And for $99.99. It arrived today. Within 15 minutes, it was set up. If you're looking for something inexpensive that sounds great, this is it! Since its a compact stereo, it fits nicely on a shelf or bookcase. Very pleased with the purchase.

I guess any mass-produced electronic item will have a certain rate of infant mortality and that's what I got. The CD player skips and hesitates and didn't get better with use. The radio function works fine and has good sound. I bought it with a $30.00 coupon so it was super cheap. Amazon offered me a 1/2 refund and no need to return it, so I'll use it as a radio and investigate the Bluetooth function.

I was excited to get this! It took two weeks to arrive! I opened the box and it was a new unit! IUnboxed it and to my surprise no power cord! I looked and looked and there was none! Amazon said to contact Sharp first so I dud! The CSR told me because I bought it on Amazon I had to deal with Amazon! I was not about to pushed back and fourth between the two companies so IBoxed it up and sent it back!On first appearance it look nice. The player feels a little on the cheap side but I was not expecting a Denom quality player!Okay, I received the replacement and this time with a power cord! I set it up and it sounds great! It has an equalizer and it puts out some great sound for such a small machine! Please note the speakers have a proprietary connection so you will not be able to upgrade or switch out the speakers! This is perfect for me. My Bose Wave Radio/CD player went after 21 years and I did not want to abandon my cd collection! This fits the bill perfectly!
