Birkenstock Arizona - Leather (Unisex)

As usual, out of box, adjust straps, put on feet, job done! After years of looking for the ideal footwear to help with poor balance caused by a bad hip and weak leg, and much disappointment with "similar" sandals by other makers, this is my sixth pair of Birkenstocks so I knew what to expect. As a bonus, they arrived a full week earlier than advised. Probably not for the fashion conscious, but if you're looking for comfort, fit and quality, in fact something you can wear all day without thinking about your feet, then these are for you. The only disappointment is lack of availability of the full colour range in my size (I'd buy more pairs at the excellent prices available on Amazon if only I could find them in more colours I like - there are far too many shades of brown and not nearly enough "brights" in this style in my size).

We had some delivery problems which the seller kept me informed of and was very helpful. When my shoes arrived they fitted perfectly I’m so happy . I had them on today for 2 hours to brake them in slowly as recommended. No blisters and feel fabulous. Would highly recommend seller

I love my Birkenstocks, they've changed my summers for the better. As with many Birkenstock sandles the size is important as your feet mould to the cork over the first few wears - it's best to wear them around the house for a bit to speed this process up. You'll know they've worn in when all of a sudden the strap tightness isn't important - the sandles literally stick to your feet. The materials used are comfortable, flexible and durable. Only downside is the cork splits when you stub your toes a few times (ouch).. but nothing a bit of glue won't fix.My next pair of sandles will be Birkenstock - top brand.Please hit 'yes' below if you found my review helpful :)

Birkenstock Arizona, Unisex-Adults' Sandals, Brown (MOCCA), 39 EU, 6 UK Normal These are fantastic shoes. I love them - the fit, the comfort, even the rather sensible style. I can imagine they will become my favourite summer shoes! HOWEVER (and this is a big however), they should come with a warning. I ordered them and duly paid my £47, pleased to get them at a better price than I would have if I had ordered them direct from the Birkenstock website. However (her's that however again), I was really disappointed a few days later to receive a Custom's demand for £22 to have the shoes delivered. Nowhere on the shoes description does it mention that these are shipped from Germany and are therefore liable to an important tax. Suddenly, my bargain Birkenstocks are no longer such a bargain. The shine was off the shoes. Although I continue to love them and will wear them a great deal in the forthcoming summer months, I do feel disappointed and slightly cheated by the additional Import Tax. So, if you are thinking of ordering these, do be warned and add an additional £20+ on the shoes so you do not have the shock I did!

Great for holidays and at home. Needed a sturdier sandal due to living in the city.

I recommend taking the time to read the reviews and advice on size. After doing so I ordered a 39 for my size 6.5 feet and they're fine. I usually need size 40 in shoes so had my fingers crossed when I placed my order. However, the 39 fits perfectly. I also read a lot on the Birkenstock website, where it tells you that your toes and heels should not be on the rims around the edge of the sandals. There's also useful information on their site re widths, care of your sandals and about repairs available.The sandals weren't immediately comfortable but they have softened and I'm wearing them every day now and they're fine.I've experienced plantar fasciitis in the past and think I'm best avoiding totally flat sandals/shoes/slippers (better to have some arch support). These Birkenstocks are great. I've had Scholl sandals in the past and although the footbed was comfortable the straps were not adjustable and stretched so that the sandals became loose and my foot slid around.For slippers I highly recommend Haflinger clogs!

The shoes were great but we had problem with the sizing, then the seller wanted for me to pay to get the correct size after we followed their sizing chart. Amazon stepped up and made it right.
