To help with thinning hair Don’t know if it’s working or not.

I love this product. My hair is not naturally thick, so I do use product. I like using this product in the shower. It add a bit of thickness to my hair and still allows me to add volumizers when styling. A little goes a long ways.

I have fine, long, straight hair that is prone to oiliness, so I have to be very careful with using conditioner, let alone any sort of hair mask. So I was a little leery when this product (with hydrogenated castor oil, no less) claimed to be volumizing. But I decided to try it anyway, and I’m glad I did. I put it on in place of conditioner, after shampooing my hair. Usually I only use conditioner on the ends of my hair, but I put this all the way up to my scalp. I let it sit for five minutes as directed, and then rinsed it out as best as I could. After blow drying it, I had amazing volume – for all of three minutes! My hair does feel clean and moisturized, which is a nice (and rare!) feeling. It’s not flat and oily, but it’s not particularly voluminous, either. My split ends are still there, but they seem to be reduced somewhat. Surprisingly, my hair isn’t as shiny as I expected – it looks a little dull. Not bad, though, and I suppose it’s a fair trade for not being oily. This treatment is definitely better than any conditioner I’ve tried in years, but not quite what I was hoping for based on the manufacturer’s claims.

I tried this out while visiting my mom and I fell in love with the product! I ended up immediately ordering my own. Makes your hair feel thick and full but not at all greasy, yet still moisturized. Excited to see how this works long term. Give it a try!

Do not waste your money. Expensive but zero effectiveness. Made my hair dry and brittle, and that is all. Zero for thickness and volume.
