Perfect Dehumidifier Purchase
It work very well in our subgrade living spaces maintaining the humidity level that was set. The noise level is very reasonable similar to having a fan in the background. It is high quality and the appearance is nice for a living space. The drain hose is well placed and transparent so you can visually inspect for clogs and we have never had issue with that. It’s perfect for hooking up to a water evacuation pump. Waykar customer service has been extremely helpful during a time when it wasn’t condensing. They took time to walk us through some simple testing and were very quick to respond. Within 2 days our issue was resolved and we highly recommend.

This 295 pint/day Waykar unit is wonderful!
I had never heard of Waykar before purchasing this unit. After wearing-out about 4 brand name household dehumidifiers, I was on a quest for the largest capacity unit I could find without breaking the bank. This 295 pints per day rocks! I totally love it! It pulls the humidity levels down with ease for my vehicle collection, a large area I might add. . Frankly, it does not even seem to work hard doing so. The unit is super quiet with really the only noise being the air discharge from the two speed fan. Drain hook-up with the included drain hose was easy, and I ran the extra distance I needed via automotive heater hose. The unit cycles as it should, although it would be ideal if there were provisions for a remote humidity sensor, as opposed to mounting the sensor on the intake coils, as they all seem to do. Warning: the unit is heavy, so it’s best to use two people to lift out of the shipping platform. In summary, I love this unit. Unknown how long it will last, since I’ve only been running this unit about three months, non-stop. If you are looking for a high capacity, high quality dehumidifier at a reasonable price, and are tired of the cheap-o ones sild at the big box stores, I highly recommend this Waykar!

Working good in my basement
I purchased this unit because my basement has been too humid. I already have 2 dehumidifiers running constantly and a heat pump water heater pulling extra moisture from the air. I was having a hard time getting the humidity below 60%. After this unit came in, I let it sit for a day to ensure the refrigerant settled if it was disturbed during shipping. Unpacking was pretty easy as once you cut the straps the box lifts right up. There was a few crushed areas of the box so I was a little concerned there might be damage but the air packs they had inside prevented this. I will say there unit was heavy as the case is metal. It feels well built and solid. I am a little limited where I can run it in my basement as the spec for the unit lists it as 1900W (I will eventually get around to measuring). I had a dedicated I can run it on and not worry about tripping a breaker. My one complaint is that the cord is a bit short and at one corner of the unit. The air intake is in the back of the unit and the exhaust comes out one side so the cord in a corner is harder to position the unit. I have the drain hose (included) go into a condensate pump which dumps the water outside. After setup, I ran the unit on the high fan setting in my basement. It puts out a lot of air. It brought the humidity down from 62% to 45% in roughly 2 hours. This reading was confirmed by a near by dehumidifier. I will say this unit throws out some heat. It has increased the basement temperature a few degrees in the area it is running in, but this is a byproduct of getting the air dry and an acceptable trade off. All in all I am happy with the purchase. I will post an updated at the end of the summer season. Update: Due to colder weather I have shut this down for the season. It performed very well but did increase the temperature in my basement.

If it works, it does the job, but stay away
3 out of 4 have died in less than a year, 2 much faster than a year, 2 months. CS was terrible. Asked me to leave it on for 24 hours to see if any water came out. Those of us with basements who need dehumidifiers know that 80% RH is it not working, regardless if it puts out 50ml of water, this thing is supposed to pull gallons. Knowing dehumidifiers, we know it blows out warm low humidity air, not room temperature air. They couldn't seem to understand that. I am taking the loss and walking away rather then pay to ship it back to them. Yes, you have to pay to send this monster back when it breaks once you convince them that you're not a moron and know when something doesn't work. The difference between 45% and 80% is generally a pretty good sign. This monster works well when it works. It also pulls about 1000 watts from the wall and is not tested at DoE standards. The 296 pints are tested at 99% humidity and very warm air as shown in the manual. 2019 standards are at 60% RH at 65F and using a set amount of watts for the pints gathered. Listing it as commercial is the back door used because dehumidifiers above 155 pints don't get the yellow energy effective stickers you see on your TVs and appliances. But my reading says it still must be tested at the given parameters. We will see once they email me back.

This product is fantastic. Our basement got flooded so I needed an immediate solution. I purchased the Waykar DP603b via Amazon, I received it a few days later and wow! In a few days, combined with a few fans, the humidity was back to normal. I would have needed 3 or 4 normal residential dehumidifyers to get close to this unit. Furthermore, I got in touch with their support departmet for some tune up and I received amazing afyter sales service. I truly recommend this unit.

Product has worked great. After a couple of years I needed a replacement part( defrost sensor), I contacted customer service. They were very helpful with the diagnosis and mailed me the part within a couple of days, along with a video showing how to change the sensor. It was very easy. Its working great again!

I purchased this unit over one year ago, and it has performed as promised in my crawlspace with a culvert running through it and has worked flawlessly since then. Once you set your desired humidity and temperature settings and figure out where you should put the drain hose in your space for the most effective unit draining, you can walk away and forget about this all-in-one powerhouse of a dehumidifier. Say hello to automation and fresh-smelling rooms and goodbye to damp spaces and stale air. Fully recommended. As the sensors do the rest and ensure that it comes with a drain hose, you can set it up once and forget about it. Where the included drain hose s

Following a comment expressing my disappointment with the service of this company, I quickly received a call from customer service. I was really impressed by the offer that was made to me and the quality of our conversations. After several exchanges of messages, my requests were answered efficiently. What I appreciated was the trust that was very present in our conversations. I must highlight the excellent work done by Tina from Customer Service. Thank you Tina and your team. I am therefore satisfied not only with the product (it does an excellent job in my garage), but also with the seriousness of the follow-up with the customer's needs.
