GOOD POINTS - NICELY MADE AND ROBUST TO HELP AGAINST ACCIDENTAL MISHANDLING. BAD POINTS - SADLY HOT DRINKS OR PLAIN BOILED WATER ONLY STAY HOT FOR A COUPLE OF HOURS. VERY BAD AND NOWHERE NEAR AS GOOD AS THE OLD FASHIONED THERMOS FLASKS WHICH SADLY WERE EASILY PRONE TO GETTING BROKEN. OBVIOUS CHECK WAS OF THE SEAL IN THE LID - NO DAMAGE SO WHY THE HEAT LOSS IS BEYOND MY UNDERSTANDING. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS ITEM IF YOU NEED TO KEEP CONTENTS HOT FOR MORE THAN A COUPLE OF HOURS.

This does NOT keep a hot beverage hot for more than 3h. I made tea at 10am this morning. By 13:00, the tea was warm but not hot. Let me put it this way, at 13:00 I could pour a cup of tea and down it without worrying about burning my throat or mouth. The outside walls of this jug quickly become too hot to touch when you pour boiling water inside it so how can it keep the liquid warm when all the heat is escaping through every bit of surface it has? I guess the reason it gets so many positive reviews is because the beverage is still warm but it is definitely not hot. It slows down the loss of heat so if you think you'll drink 2 litres of tea in 2-3 hours, this might work for you. Personally, I'd like to make tea and keep it hot a bit longer.

Does keep water hot but doesn’t last… 7-months later the seal at the top pisses out water, inside & outside rust… Not sure how this can be approved for use in the UK🤔

The screw on lid button press dispenser breaks!!! It leaves the product unfit for purpose … not just because it then no longer pours but because it then leaks extremely hot liquid contents out onto unsuspecting users … until pressed the contents are intended to be sealed within the flask … Further to this the part that I assume breaks is a tiny cylindrical piece of black plastic … (think the shape of a toilet roll tube only it’s solid and about 1mm in diameter and 2 possibly 3mm in length) Fell out whilst pouring out coffee into a cup … I know this because I choked on it!!! Needless to say I unfortunately do not have the piece because it fell after I’d coughed it up but I guarantee that if sn investigation was done on the design of the lid it will show a piece as I described within the contraption of the lid (probably as I suggested it’s part of the levers pivot mechanism but obviously it could easily be an injection moulding point but regardless it is dangerous!!!)

Steam burst with pressure when you first use it after filling. Not safe if kids are around and adults should be careful as well. Has ergonomic design problems so you have only tilt for more than 90 degrees to put water from it. It only keeps water hot for less than 2-3 hours. I first bout and was not happy due to these issues. They immediately offered a replacement. The second one is exactly the same as the first, I am afraid. Convinced it has some major design issues.

Delivered pretty quick. The main issue with these is that they are not very safe. When the hot drink is in the flask and you press the button to pour the liquid, be prepare to handle a fast and hot jet of gas. If pointed at an unfortunately soul, can cause bodily harm. The second problem is cleaning, although the flask is easy to clean. It is very difficult to clean the seal on top. Infact after a few uses, it is impossible to remove the residue build up and probably is a nice place for bectaria. Avoid!

Expected heated water to stay hot enough to make a hot drink for at least 12 hours Yet even though I heated the flask first before then adding boiling water - within five hours I then needed to heat my “hot” tea or coffee in the microwave for a minute to get it hot enough to drink. Very disappointed in this flask, would return it but had thrown the box away

Very disappointed as it looked good., for normal pouring you have to practically tip it vertically part of the inside rim was broken apart from that and the pouring issues it is really not worth the price, giving it one star I think I am being generous.

Lo utilizamos para salir a repartir café caliente a las personas sin hogar durante el invierno. No lo hemos usado demasiado por ahora, pero tiene buenísima pinta. Conserva el calor perfectamente muchas horas. Es muy cómodo de servir y también de llenar y lavar. El sencillo sistema de uso se agradece mucho. Parece muy duradero, si bien aún no podemos asegurarlo. Lo único malo es que para transportarlo largo rato, el sistema de asa lateral no es el más cómodo. Pero compensa muchísimo a la incomodidad y poca durabilidad de los termos de grifo (pulsador), aunque sean algo más cómodos de portar.

بعد تجربة باكثر من شهر. المنتج لا يحتفض بالحراره لاكثر من ٦ ساعات. اما البروده لا تتجاوز ٨ ساعات. النصيحه هي شراء منتج من شركة ثرمس. لكني تفلسفت وقلت بجرب من شركة ثانيه و توهقت.

Esteticamente piacevole e molto capiente. Apparentemente robusto: per la durata bisogna aspettare qualche anno ... Mantiene molto bene la temperatura (circa 12 ore) se sufficientemente pieno; se ci rimane poco liquido, tende ovviamente a raffreddarsi.

Overall it is very good. First part of the review is to address conflicting or incorrect info in reviews and questions. Second part is Pros and Cons of the product. It seems some say it keeps fluids hot, and some say it does not. I tested it for keeping things hot and found it quite excellent. I am from Canada, and I was taught at an early age that you must pre-heat a thermos if you expect it to keep heat, otherwise your hot beverage is cooled by heating the interior of the thermos. Anyway, I tested it by preheating with a cup of boiling water which I dumped out after swishing it around, then I filled it about 80% full with very hot water. The outside remained cool other than at the very top 1 inch which was noticeably warm to the touch. So other than the top 1 inch, you would not even know there was anything hot in it. After 4 hours, I poured some out onto my finger and it was so hot I had to my finger out of it. So I call that good heat retaining performance. Answers to questions say it is dishwasher safe: The instructions very clearly say it is NOT dishwasher safe - see attached picture for cleaning instructions. Cleaning by hand is recommended which is reasonably easy to do if you have a bottle brush or something like that. I personally never wash anything like this in a dishwasher so I will leave that to the reader to decide if this is a CON or not. PROS: - Very good heat retention - Drip free pouring CONS: - Pours a little slowly (not really a problem but it was noticeable) - Thumb valve feels fragile so it should be treated carefully to avoid breaking it Overall, it does as expected, and appears to be a quality product. So I feel is is excellent value for the price.

Je suis ravie de ce pichet qui est beau et qui garde bien au chaud mon café pour la journée !!! Il suffit juste de faire bouillir de l’eau, la verser et la garder pendant 5 à 10 minutes dans le pichet fermé bien sûr. Ensuite verser le café en chaud . Le pichet faisant 2 litres, il est évident que plus vous le videz, moins la chaleur tiendra au fil des heures. Faut bien le remplir. Sinon il faut un Thermos moins grand.
