I got these to use in my color bible and they work great. The color is nice and they write so smooth. I would recommend these pencils to anyone wanting nice color and smooth writing. Recommended for all ages. Would be good to use in adult coloring books also.

Although these pencils are much less expensive than the FC Polychromos, they are very much like the Polychromos but “buttery”; they’re nice to have if you need a bright pop of color or if you’re drawing on dark paper. Great pencils !! They are triangle-shaped, not round, with a matte black finish. Nice hand feel. Easy to layer and blend. They work nicely with Polychromos and Prismacolor colored pencils, too. Versatile pencils to have in your collection.

I wanted to give them the opportunity. I had bought the portrait and primary colors sets. And they were ok, I'm a Prismacolor sucker, but well price. So here I'm with these new colors, they are very, very good, not perfect, for my taste they do not blend thaaaat well, but okeish. The weird thing and I guess I missed that part, they are not rounded, so I'm getting a little time to get used to that. I tent to hard grip my pencils, so it's kinda hard for me. Overall if you are not the picky as me, they are wonderful colors, vibrant and practical

I love the triangular shape of these it helps with the fatigue. Nice color selection for the neon and pastels, I wish there was a little more color range but it's still a good start. I also have the skin tone set and it definitely fills in the browns I was missing. No issues sharpening them (I use the Faber castell sharpener), they fit in my pencil case nicely, good price for what your getting. Not super creamy but still blendable and layers nicely, goes awesome with the 50pc black edition set I already have and there's no repeats which is great!

These are great pencils! The 3-sided shape doesn't roll away, and the wood is nice! They are very pigmented and smooth to color with. Thank you!

Wow. Wow wow. Love this set so much. I’m new to using colored pencils and have been frustrated with other sets. I love the tin they come in. I do t like the trays though. They’re flimsy and because I choose to keep sets together and not separate them, it’s becoming a little annoying since they can fall out and the last thing I want is for them to fall on the floor and crack inside.

I love these pencils. I have the Goldfaber and Polychromos but these are more fun. Cheaper than other offerings mentioned because they are made in Brazil. They lay down wonderfully. The cons: Very hard to manually sharpen. I used a KUM sharpener and wore a blister on my finger from sharpening. The wood is extremely hard splintering off while sharpening and coupled with the odd triangular shape is a big con. As for the color Asst. There way too many blues and greens and less earth tones and yellows. Faber needs to work on improvements in that area IMHO. Still I love these pencils as they have a prismalike feel but slightly firmer. As for the set had four tips broken off from shipping. That was Amazons cheap prime packaging. It was a miracle the rest were ok. Still all in all I recommend these for coloring and with an electric sharpening with an auto stop. Someone with a weak hand strength would have a very hard Tim with them. I have strong hands and still was a bit of a pain in that area. 5 stars for the actual pencil usage - 2 stars for the cons = 3 stars overall
