Product Review: SYLVOX 24 Inch TV 12 (Limo Series)
I recently purchased the SYLVOX 24 Inch TV from the Limo Series for my boat, and I must say that it has exceeded my expectations in many ways. This 12 Volt Smart TV offers a host of features that make it a perfect addition to any boat or RV setup. First and foremost, the picture quality is outstanding. The Full HD 1080P resolution ensures crisp and clear visuals, making it a pleasure to watch movies, sports, or even regular TV shows. The colors are vibrant, and the viewing angles are good, which is especially important in a confined space like a boat. The built-in DVD player is a convenient feature, as it saves the hassle of carrying an external player and cords. I've used it to play various DVDs, and the playback quality has been consistently good. It's a great option for entertainment during long journeys or when anchoring at a beautiful spot and wanting to watch a movie. Another highlight of this TV is the ARC (Audio Return Channel) and CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) support. With ARC, I can connect the TV to my home theater system using a single HDMI cable, and the audio is transmitted back to the speakers without the need for extra cables. CEC allows me to control multiple connected devices using a single remote, streamlining my setup and making navigation a breeze. The WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity are convenient features, allowing me to connect the TV to my mobile devices for streaming content or listening to music. The TV's smart capabilities enable access to various apps, although the app selection might be limited compared to larger, more mainstream smart TVs. One aspect that impressed me is the TV's power efficiency. Since it operates on 12 Volts, it draws less power compared to traditional TVs, which is perfect for boating trips where conserving energy is crucial. The design of the SYLVOX 24 Inch TV is sleek and compact, making it easy to fit into tight spaces. The build quality feels sturdy and durable, which is essential for a TV that might experience some movement during boat trips. However, there are a couple of minor downsides worth mentioning. Firstly, the audio quality is decent, but it could be improved. External speakers or a soundbar would enhance the overall audio experience. Secondly, while the smart features are handy, the TV's interface can be a bit slow and clunky at times. In conclusion, the SYLVOX 24 Inch TV from the Limo Series is an excellent choice for boat and RV owners looking for a compact, energy-efficient, and feature-packed TV. The impressive picture quality, built-in DVD player, ARC/CEC support, and smart capabilities make it a great entertainment companion on your water adventures. Just bear in mind that investing in external speakers might be necessary to get the best audio experience. Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase and would recommend this TV to fellow boating enthusiasts.

Nice when it works... questionable support.
Update... Support team got back to me. Apparently there is an issue with their system and yahoo mail and there emails were also flagged as spam in my Gmail account. Once there was communication, they ended up replacing my TV with the newest version. Thank you Sylvox! We liked this TV at first. Clear picture. Decent sound quality for its size. OS a bit slow at times, but reasonable. Now, in less than a year and only used a dozen times or so in our camper, it is stuck in a boot loop (see video attached). Tried website support, but no resources for this issue. Searched on soft and hard reset and tried what I could find to no avail. Emailed Sylvox support and included video... no response. Tried calling two times... no answer. Tried chat... no one available. Tried emailing again, no response. Will update this review if something changes. I would be careful.

big mistake
i purchased tv for my new camper.. had it for a few months in the box, went to have it installed and went camping. the first night tv worked and the second day we turned it on and the picture under the screen looked cracked. nothing hit the tv and no damage, just broke for no reason. The tv was a waste of money. I assumed since it was for campers and boats it would hold up. the most money I have ever blown on something that only worked once. when I went to return it there was a 30 day return policy. do not buy this tv and don't waste your money. the set up on the tv literally looks like dos from the 1980s. something fishy about this tv, I was misled to believe this was a good tv for a camper, but it isn't, sound is bad could not hear it the first night and picture not that great,

quality picture, excellent software, quick to respond
This 24” Slyvox RT24R3KGCA 12v TV/DVD player was purchased for installation in my small travel trailer. I replaced a 24” Vizio model D24f-G1 with this purchase. The Vizio was agonizingly slow and often took about 25 minutes to receive an over the air signal after initially turning on the TV & scanning for channels on arrival in a new location. I spent about 20 minutes on initial start up of this TV to input all info needed to sign into my TV, sign into my Netflix, Prime Video and YouTube accounts and to scan for new channels (about 3 of the 20 minutes.) On starting back up after being turned off, the tv took less than 2 seconds to come on; whereas I could expect to spend a minimum of 7 minutes with my old Vizio. This is an incredible improvement! This is an Android device & asked me if I wanted to sync to my Android phone (I have an iPhone) so I’m sure the initialization would have been even faster, although I could quickly sync the different apps with a QR code. The software on this device is well thought out. Now for the performance. The picture is very crisp, the colors are accurate and the sound is very good & not the tinny sound reported by other reviewers for this TV, although it is nowhere near the quality that I have in my living room tv at home. The volume attainable is plenty loud at even a lower setting. The DVD player performs similar to other players although the first DVD I put in was backwards (with the label facing toward the front of the TV); it was automatically ejected like a piece of toast on a 3 Stooges style toaster, about 6” sideways right into the blinds to bounce onto the bed; the eject spring is more than adequate. This is a DVD player, not a Blu-ray player, so the video quality is not as fine if the two formats are compared, nor will it be as good as the High Definition signal that is displayed from over the air reception; it is an earlier technology DVD after all. Again, the broadcast reception picture quality is exceptional! I installed this product on an overhead mount. The screw holes are standard & four metric Phillips screw 4x8mm-38 (not provided) are needed. I am really sorry that it took me so long to purchase this TV/DVD player; I suffered needlessly with my Vizio for far too long! I would definitely recommend this TV to anyone else who is considering this purchase. The photos are from YouTube, two from off the air broadcast & one from the DVD.

Very nice RV TV
This review pertains to the Sylvox 22" Smart RV TV. I received this product two days ago, powered it up and went through very little steps to turn this TV into a great all-around experience. The picture is good; the sound is OK but "tinny." To counteract this as much as possible, I found that keeping the sound mode at "standard" and the surround mode "off," you can buffer some of that out and still get good quality sound. Also, there is plenty of ability to make this TV as loud as you want. The DC player works great and picture is also good. You can easily toggle between the four apps on the remote and return to regular TV with one click. I'm very impressed and happy with this purchase.

Unique Product, works very well
I use this little TV in my basement during workouts. It is set up in front of my treadmill and cross-trainer. I really love it. Connects to the WiFi without issue so I can watch movies on Netflix, Disney, or programs on cable, etc. DVD player works great with my Great Courses lecture series. I can watch 2 or 3 lectures while speed walking or cross-training for a hour. Sound works great too. Can hear just fine over the din of the equipment. Nothing else quite like it available. Highly recommended.

Ehh... It's 12v
Picture quality is good but the built in tuner sucks, it doesn't pick up many channels and the channels I do get are unwatchable as the quality is terrible. My old TV, which an insignia flat screen that's almost 15 years old, with the same antenna and in the same area gets twice as many channels. The speakers in this TV have a very tin sound. It sounds like they are just tweeters. My biggest issue with this TV is the input ports are recessed which means it's hard to plug things in and it's impossible to plug in a streaming stick unless it's pigtailed. So no antenna TV and no smart TV and my only options when boondocking are DVDs that are becoming harder to find even at the dollar store. Another thing is the build quality is lacking. bezel came undone a little bit in shipping and doesn't want to go back together buts it's subtle and not very noticeable so it's not a huge deal, but it just feels like cheap hard plastic. Overall this TV is kind of meh... If it wasn't 12v I wouldn't keep it.

Two issues only
This TV is pricey for its size, but I needed a 22-inch 12-volt model for my RV. A couple of drawbacks: 1. The manual specifies the exact screw size for wall mounting, yet none are included—meaning an extra trip to town to find the closest match. 2. The 12-volt plug doesn’t fit a standard U.S. socket. Fortunately, I had one on hand that worked. Aside from those issues, setup was straightforward and the picture quality is excellent.
