This MOSFET has a nice, low gate voltage compared to the amp capability. It switches fast without bringing the heat and performs well even without a heatsink. I used this part in a heat controller for a 3D printer build, several LED control systems, and some additional prototype projects. The low min gate voltage (1.8V) means that I can rely on 3.3V switching systems to switch the gate on 24V systems, even if they're interrupted by a series diode or some other load. The screw hole part is a conductor for the Drain (middle pin), so if I use it as a base for a screw terminal, the screw terminal and the screw also act as heat sinks. That's the way MOSFETS work in general. The 10pc price is not far off from manufacturer direct price for 10X1pc.

Rds(on) too high! Instead of being around 20mΩ, it is around 4Ω or more!
