So I thought it would just be the block of butter inside the little bag but it had the manga butter safely wrapped in a another seal and no worries of it melting or messing up with residues in the blue bag. It even came with a cute note and a ziploc bag for you to store your butter in when you don’t use it :) that is very thoughtful of them, in case the customer doesn’t have any ziploc bag or seals at home to store the butter in. Just unfold where the note card is folded in to. My thoughts: THIS IS PROBABLY THE BEST BUTTER IVE TRIED SO FAR. It’s been hours and my legs and hands are still so softttt. Take a little bit of the butter, put it in your palms, rub it to heat it up for easier application. Voila. Unless you like to use big big chunks and the grainy sandy feeling when you rub it on your skin then go ahead and try that too. I’m only using it for normal skin perks like my dry dry skin that is desperate for some moisture and hydration. My legs are still glowing even now, I don’t really do much diy stuff with it but they’re perfect to use as body butter and lip balms and hand creams. I just use it straight out of the bag, warm it up with my hands and then apply thoroughly 🤩 even the smell, it smells a bit nutty surprisingly, like cocoa. I’ve never tried cocoa butter before but it smells a bit like the cocoa vaseline a use, that small hint of chocolate note. I thought I might’ve gotten the wrong batch or something but this is for sure mango butter. It’s way softer and not as colored as cocoa butter would be, CB would be a lot rigid and can crack easily. I haven’t tried it on my face yet but I’m excited. It’s only the first day trying the butter and few hours since applied on legs and hands, it doesn’t feel dry at all. Still very moisturized 🥺

I'll start by saying, I have ordered various types of butter from several suppliers. Some package by weight, while others package by volume. The actual weight of this butter, out of the packaging was 16.25 pounds. I love the vacuum sealed foil bag that the butter arrived in. When I opened the package and saw that the butter was also sealed in a clear plastic bag, I was impressed. But then when I took the butter out of the foil package, not only did I see a business card inside, but an additional clear plastic zip bag, to store unused butter in. At this point, I was very impressed! I used the butter immediately, as I had waited for 2 weeks for an order of mango butter from a different company, which turned out to be out of stock. The butter was perfect, a beautiful creamy white color, and easy to cut. I absolutely love the smell of fresh raw mango butter, so I know what to expect and was not disappointed with the quality and freshness of this butter! I saw another review that claimed the butter was rancid. If that was accurate, I would have to guess that it was a fluke. Again, I've ordered from many suppliers and I have calculated prices. I have seen better prices by the pound, but the shipping always gets you! In one way or another, mango butter always ends up being between $10-$14 per pound. Then, you have to wait for delivery, which is almost never less than 4 days to a week. On prime, I had my order in 2 days! I was thrilled to see that this supplier also has kokum and sal butter, and surprised to see that their prices for those butters are also very reasonable! I will definitely order more and will likely stick with this brand from now on.

I was very happy when I tried this product on my skin and was pleased with the results. I was unhappy though with the fact that it was too gritty. So I did some research and found out that if some body butters after being melted, cool too slowly, it causes them to be gritty. So the solution is to remelt them and put them in the refrigerator or freezer to cool more quickly - which is what I did with this and it resolved the problem. I found that using a shallow dish - not a deep one - so that it can cool more evenly works best. Now I have nice smooth and creamy mango butter and for a great price. Yes, maybe it should not have arrived gritty, but temperature fluctuations during transport can cause these types of problems too and many butters are affected. So really it was no problem to just reheat it on low until completely melted and then put it in the freezer for about 30-60 minutes. It's nice and creamy now and I use it directly on my face and body for moisturizing. It's great.

Excel!ent quality and good texture. Came with in an additional storage bag, which was nice. This butter is odorless. I was really amazed by how fast it absorbed on my skin. Shea butter tends to just sit on top, but this mango butter absorbed super quick and made my skin feel super soft. I also slather this butter mixed with a bit of coconut oil on my 2 year old son after his bath to combat dry skin. it's organic and I feel much better using this on him than a bottle of drug store name brand lotion that usually contain a long list of not so good for you ingredients.

I love this mango butter. It's wonderful for anything you'd like to use a butter in. Like all butters it requires some effort to make it easier to apply. That said this mango butter never disappoints . I love it so much that I really wish it had either a nutty fragrance or a mango scent already. How yum would that be? It's also been a wonderful addition to all of my body concoctions and my facial cleansing balm with kaolin clay. Will definitely be purchasing more of this one very soon. Lol, I could just live in it.

Knocking one star off because you cannot reseal the packaging. Arrived fresh and soft feeling. Used this to make a lotion as well as some lip balms. I thought this was nice quality.
