CherryKW 9200 Mini Wireless Rechargable Compact Keyboard. with Bluetooth 5.0 and Wired Connectivity

You pair the Cherry KW9200 with a code the first time, but after that, it pairs automatically when the keyboard is turned on. It is very solidly constructed, and the key labels are embossed, which ought to ensure the labels don't wear off with use - like several other keyboards I've had.The keys are concave in shape which helps to center your fingers on the keys for accurate typing. The F1 through F12 keys have an alternate function that can be toggled but they are standard Win11 functions, not in the same order as used by Apple on the iPad - but I seldom use those functions anyway. The keys are not lighted, but the labels are very clear (white on black). The dual function keys such as ? / and : ; have the placement vertically. Some keyboards place the double function labels horizontally. I prefer the vertical placement; it's easier to read and less confusing.The typing feel is fine. There's more vertical travel than in most Bluetooth keyboards, but not as much as my HyperX Alloy Core Membrance Gaming Keyboard. It comes with a travel case which is nice to have. It was a good purchase.

Great mobile membrane keyboard. I wish it had some kind of backlight, but otherwise I can't complain. The build quality is nice, it's a little heavy, and the battery life is super long

Simple and solid keyboard for office and home, but definitely not for gaming. It can easily switch between multiple devices. I have bought 2 of these keyboards.

Buen producto, solo dos detalles a mi me llegó en una caja sellada pero con huellas o marcas de manipulación con manos sucias llenas de aceite, luego de limpiar muy bien el teclado y el cable se ve bien, el otro detalle es que cuando lo sujetas cruje un poco. Cómo recomendación hay que cargarlo la primera vez por completo con un cargador dedicado si no se descarga rápido la batería, luego de eso la duración de la batería es aceptable. La sensación del teclado es muy buena y silencioso. Lo recomiendo.

I travel often and require connectivity to multiple devices at times. This keyboard is amazing as it supports connectivity with a USB cable, a dongle adapter, and 2 bluetooth devices. It is sturdy and a good typing experience, especially for such a low profile keyboard. The battery life is great as well.

Off the bat, I'll say that I'm not a keyboard snob. I have quite a few keyboards with different switches and keycaps, etc. I have fun exploring the budget end of the hobby, but for my go to keyboards for work, I step out of the hobby realm. I do like my keyboards on the compact side, anywhere from 60% to 70% seems to fit my needs very well. I do like having cordless choices in a pinch, but I also like to have a wired option. Lastly, I'm not picky about key feel, other than it can't be too mushy and vague.This keyboard ticks all the boxes, and ticks them really well. It has a USB-C connector to charge, and to use in wired mode. It support not only bluetooth, but it comes with an RF dongle too. The key feel is just right for a scissor based keyboard. It doesn't feel mushy, it's not too loud, and the keys inspire enough confidence to keep mistakes to a minimum. I was concerned about the Fn key location (to the right of the right shift key), but those fears were unfounded. I have never mistakenly hit the Fn key.There a few minor compromises for being such a compact keyboard. The up and down direction keys are half keys, but at least they're stacked on top of each other. Insert/Home/End/PgUp/PgDn are behind an Fn press, but that's to be expected of a keyboard this size. Having the top row of F keys is nice, I do miss them on my Drop Alt keyboard. The keyboard does flex a little bit, and is made completely from plastic. This is an acceptable compromise to keep the weight in check.Some additional features... it comes in a nice lyrca case. It has flip out feet to adjust the angle to a more typable position. It comes with a USB-A to USB-C cable, but I'm using a coiled cable that I was using with my Drop Alt. It is listed as "Designed in Germany" but "Manufactured in China". That's the norm these days, and this does seem to be of very high quality.The last point, is the price fair? I have some old Logitech 810 keyboads which were my goto portable keyboards. They are bluetooth only, and are old enough that they only have microUSB connectors. At the time I bought them years ago, they were priced higher than this keyboard. However, they did have metal tops, and generally felt slightly higher quality. It also had backlit keys, which was a nice touch (this keyboard is not backlit). This keyboard offers a lot of great connectivity options (one RF, two bluetooth, one wired) that I think you would be hard pressed to find in a brand name keyboard at this price.

Two main things that made made me have to return it.1. The 2.4ghz mode, one of the main reasons I got it (so I could use it for some gaming without it wired) is worse than any five dollar bluetooth device, it constantly misses keys I press and lags up. I tested with a usb extender placing the dongle inches away from the keyboard's receiver and no change.2. I installed the cherry utility software, my hope was that maybe there was a firmware update that could resolve the issue. I loaded up the software and had the keyboard plugged into the computer using the cord that came with it, and the software could not detect the keyboard.I was really hoping that since this is the same company who also makes keyboard parts for mechanical keyboard enthusiasts and is well known, that they could make a decent keyboard. I'm pretty disappointed.I can not recommend this keyboard to anyone unless they only plan on this being either a wired keyboard, or a bluetooth keyboard. But then, at this price, I can't recommend that either.
