Incredible Quality
Never used Daniel Smith for watercolour painting and was a bit sceptical as the brand’s a bit pricey for a student / new amateur. But it really is superb, strong, creamy paint and quinacridone burnt orange is definitely up there with the most useful and most used in my palette.

The Best Watercolour
One of nicest colours in watercolour to work with. Of course if One needs the best watercolour ever made, which is rich, creamy and vibrant, Daniel Smith is the choice. When I was a student of Architecture at UC Berkeley few years back, I always used Daniel Smith's watercolour. When I returned back home to England they did not sell Daniel Smith's watercolours. It has only been a short while that Amazon.CO.UK has started selling D.S's watercolour. I am absolutely delighted.

Daniel Smith is my go to brand of quality watercolor paint. (Sh ... I own over 100 colors.) I like that the paints are lightfast (resistant to fading in sun light) and highly pigmented. Also Daniel Smith has both granulating (my favorite) and non-granulating colors.

Ever since I started doing watercolors quin burnt orange has been one of my favorites to use. It's very vibrant and mixes well with other colors. It captures the mood of the paintings I'm trying to create and I love that
