Q: What kinds of wood are there in this pack?

So i was a little bummed i just found this out. The same company had a pack with all the names on the wood that is only $1.50 more then this pack. Had i know that i would have picked up the one with the names. After i ordered this i decided oh i'll just go on the website and look at the pictures and compare it to what i have, that didnt work out for me as i am color blind and 1/2 of the woods look like the other half :(. If you want something with the names on it I would get the pack called the "Wood Identification Pack"

Q: how thick is this stuff? i'd like to use it to create some laser cut stuff but wonder if it would hold up as say, a necklace pendant without crumbling

My batch on the thin side was .024", on the thick side (thickest) .060" The sheets are fragile. I have cut some of the material in quarters and created layers for more thickness. I use the variety pack mostly for inlays. It gives me a nice variety to choose from.

Q: how thick are these veneers?

I believe on average they are about .030" thick.

Q: is this thick like a cardstcok heavy?

It couls be thick as a cardstock but some.of the are a bit curby so they are not 100% flat (is real wood) and is not very heavy. you can hold it with one hand.
