I buy this to put in the water I put outside for the birds to mainly help prevent trichomonosis (aka canker) which is a horrible disease that primarily affects pigeons/doves but also affects finches especially Green finches. Certainly seems to be helping as I haven’t had any poorly birds in my large garden for quite some time and as a rehabber I know what to look out for. (Apple cider vinegar also helps but is not as effective).
