After searching and reviewing every drafting chair on Amazon within my budget, I picked this one even though I thought the price was kind of high. Boy was I wrong about the price, it's worth every penny and with a warranty included, I am so happy I picked this one. I put it together in about 30 minutes and loved it immediately. My old chair kept sinking and I've needed a new one for a long time. This chair hasn't sunk at all in the 3 months I've used it, not once. Sinking was one of my biggest concerns (after reading reviews on other new chairs sinking right out of the box) it was very important to me to choose a chair that wouldn't sink. If something changes with this chair and it should start to sink while in use, I will definitely update my review. I am 5'9" and 250lbs, and this chair fits perfectly and feels very sturdy. It's a tall drafting chair for my tall office desk and my feet rest perfectly on the footrest. The seat cushions are thick and soft and have not lost any form. The back support is so much better than the leather one I've used for years. It has an ergonomic back that helps not to slouch, and no more shoulder and neck pain which was a daily complaint I had before with my old chair. I didn't realize the comfort I was missing and what a difference a good chair means, especially if you suffer from chronic neck/shoulder pain. When I feel like taking a breather even for a few minutes, I can lean back and stretch out and the neck rest is perfect. Sometimes even when I am not working, I choose to sit in this chair to watch tv because of the recline ability and comfort. When assembling the chair the only thing I wished I would have known and done different was to make certain the armrest bolts were tightened to the same tension. I did not do that, and once the chair back was on the seat and the seat was on top of the base, there was no way to adjust the armrest height, so now one armrest is about 1/2" lower. Slight difference, my fault and not a deal breaker as to how much I love this chair! If you're trying to decide on which chair to get, I recommend this one 100%! This chair will not disappoint!

I've just put this together so it's an early review, but so far I can say it's one of the more comfortable and sturdy office chairs I've sat in, especially when it comes to tall drafting chairs. In the past, I've tried drafting chairs around this price point that honestly felt pretty precarious and I had a hard time trusting them to hold me, but this one feels solid even when its extended to full height. I don't feel top heavy or like I might topple over when I shift my weight around. The seat is spacious and very well padded and feels like it will probably hold up really well over time. The arm rests are also well padded and support my entire arms so my hands rest comfortably on the keyboard and mouse. The foot rest is large enough that my legs are in a comfortable position that won't cut off circulation when sitting for a long time. The design is somewhat basic, but to be honest that's what I was looking for because sometimes chairs try a little too hard to look unique and just end up being impractical or looking cheap and gimmicky. At first, I didn't even realize it reclined until I read the product description again and saw that you can pull the handle out to unlock the reclining ability. I'm not the biggest fan of reclining when I'm sitting in a tall chair so I'll probably keep it locked most of the time, but it still feels stable even when you lean back so it's nice to have the option. I've seen a few people mention the hydraulics not working well or sinking, but that hasn't been my experience at all so maybe they just got a bad batch and should exchange for a new piston. Instructions were easy and it's pretty quick to assemble. So far, I'm feeling really happy with this purchase.

This chair is very easy to assembly and is well made. It is very comfortable to sit in. You can fit comfortably in this chair if you are TALL. I do like the lumbar support, and I feel like it is solid and sturdy for a 230LB person that is 5'10". This is a great chair with a stand-up desk.

Seems like a really comfortable and solid chair. I have a steelcase Think chair that did not raise up high enough for me, I have long legs and arms and like a high desk while sitting. This chair is a great replacement at a fraction of the cost. More comfortable than the Think. I sit for long periods at a time. The seat is thick and dense in a good way. Drawbacks so far: wheels don’t glide as smoothly as steelcase chair. A screw and a rubber washer were damaged but they provide extra. Arms not height adjustable, just pivot up out of the way. No lumbar adjustment. All drawbacks to be expected given budget price. Everything functions as it should, looks good, seems durable, but some components not top of line.

Didn't take long at all to assemble, pretty straightforward documentation & holy moly do I feel like a different me sitting at the computer with this chair. My back and neck can finally relax. 10/10 would recommend. Build quality also seems solid but do yourself a favor and just purchase separate casters (wheels) yourself. I bought some that were ~20$ and they let you glide across the floor (wooden) silky smooth.

I really love the height range, as most other computer chairs can't go as high as this one, so I needed to match the height of my computer table and this was perfect

Needed a super tall seat height, and this chair delivered! Easy assembly. Clear instructions. Good adjustment lever function. Very pleased with purchase.

I bought this to replace a less comfortable drafting chair, and while the plush seat is nice, for my personal ergonomics, the seat could easily stand to be 4"-5" higher from the ground, as once one sinks into that plush seat and is now sitting too low for the desk vs. a standing position. A drafting chair with a proper range should allow one to leave their monitor and desk at a fixed height, with the chair meeting up with that. This fails to do that for me, but should be fine for shorter people. If you're under 6 feet tall, this is probably great, but otherwise, it's well made but not ideal.

put it together reasonably quick and easily.... i was surprised and disappointed to immediately notice the chair did not lift to its full height without my help.... once at the top position i sat on the chair and the seat settled to 5" or 6" lower!!!! I weigh 175lbs... chair is advertised for far more than that. now i have to try to return this .... wasted time and disappointed.
