The new formula is a huge disappointment.
They have recent changed the formula of the product. It may be an improvement for some, but sadly not for me. The fortifying night cream is kind of a whipped cream/whipped butter texture that doesn’t feel very moisturizing, but leaves my skin feeling oddly dry AND greasy, not dewy and hydrated like the old cream. Unlike the other products in the 1000 Roses line, this isn’t a pleasant light rosy scent. It smells very artificial/perfumy. Worst of all, it is very hard on my sensitive skin. It stings and even burns sometimes. After using this cream for a week, my skin now has dry patches that are flaking. I’m so disappointed. The heavenly night cream had none of these issues, but it seems to have been discontinued, and I must find a new moisturizer.

This is not the same as Andalou Naturals 1000 ROSES Heavenly Night Cream
I have used Andalou Naturals 1000 ROSES Heavenly Night Cream for years. I love it. When I clicked on it in my "orders" section, the Fortifying Night Cream came up instead. I thought Andalou must have replaced the Heavenly Night Cream and decided to try this new version. If I didn't have the Heavenly Night Cream in my head, this would probably be fine. I do and it isn't. I guess it really is for sensitive skin - it didn't make me break out as many night creams do but it did give me a slight stinging sensation. It doesn't absorb as easily, doesn't feel as nourishing and feels slightly greasy. I was overjoyed to find out the Heavenly Night Cream is still available. I have ordered it. For me this is a ***. I am giving it **** because I think many people will like it, especially those who like the tingle or who have dry skin. UPDATE: This does replace the Heavenly Night Cream. Can't find it any where. I guess I'm looking for a new moisturizer.

Cream of Roses
I love their creams because of the affordability but also the texture and perfect consistency. Everything they make is great, but their rose products I love. Natural simple smells are my favorite. Some creams are so complex with to many perfumes. This is simple smell of roses and does the work of the best creams for hydrating and replenishing your face.

Calming, moisturizing
Excellent night cream for rosacea or red, dry skin. When I wake up in the morning my skin looks calm and renewed!
