I was looking into buying the expensive Bioionic curler for a while. I love long barreled clamp curling irons for the beachy wave look. This one is amazing and is absolutely a dupe. The clamp is so smooth and my hair never gets caught in it. I’ve had problems with other clamp curlers ripping out strands of my hair! I love the heat settings and the smooth buttons so I don’t accidentally press them while curling. The curls are so beautiful and last days! Definitely get this for the price!

Overall, I like this iron very much! The temp is adjustable and can get very hot which I like when I'm setting hair in tight curls. The barrel and clamp are smooth so hair doesn't snag or pull. And I love that it shuts off on a timer so I don't have to worry that I left it on all day.Cons: The off, on and temperature buttons can be temperamental. You have to hold down the tiny power button to turn off or on (which I don't mind), but then when in use, sometimes the tiniest touch will shut it off or change the temp.Also, the clamp is not super strong so it can be tricky to get exactly the right spot. I think that's a fair trade off for feeling like it smooths the hair rather than pulling and damaging it.

While this curling iron has a clamp, my hair slides off the barrel as though it has zero resistance. The clamp works, and is not loose, but my hair slides through and therefore cannot be curled. Returned.

This curling iron has been a game changer for me, especially does well with the humidity . I noticed on my first use that my hair was extremely soft and I my curls last for days!

Worked great for about 4 months and then stopped working!
