I have three slow cookers in the last 10 years and I was keen to get cracking with this one. The product arrived quickly and I found the price very realistic. The product looks exactly the same as the image and I have found it easy to wipe down the red 'shell' of the unit and it does not leave a smear from the cloth or the cleaning product. The cooking dish itself is beautiful and solid and would be perfect for serving the food straight at the table; it is also transferable to the oven. I tend to set my slow cooker dish up the night before so that I can lift it out of the fridge and place it in the base unit in the morning, switch it on and go. The dish easily holds a meal suitable for feeding 6 hungry people. I have cooked a variety of dishes over the last few weeks including: stews and casseroles lasagne Hot chocolate and fondues Rice pudding Sponge puddings I love putting my porridge oats and milk in it at night and waking up to a lovely breakfast for the whole family. The settings allow you to cook dishes on high, low and there is an auto setting for keeping food warm. The settings are very similar to other slow cookers I have had and seem to be quite standard. I find you can cook a pice of Brisket with vegetables in about 6 hours and the meat is succulent and tender. This product is fantastic, excellent value for money and does exactly what you would expect from any slow cooker; the fact that it looks pleasing to the eye and transfers well to the dining table is an added bonus.

Bought this as a replacement as my previous one broke, and use several times a week so needed a new one quickly, good price, my only critisism of this one is the dial knob came off, not secure at all, 2nd time i used it, managed to put it back on, good size for me and my husband, i use it for stews, soup, chilli, i even slow cook joints or beef and pork, cooks beautifully. Highly recommend, did read comment before purchase and was aware of possible issue with dial knob for temperature settings, but thought id risk it.

The weight of this slow cooker is brilliant,the size is great for small families,with various settings to choose from too. Lid seals nicely onto dish.various heat settings are ideal so you have a choice. Timer works good.. Happy that I bought this lovely product

Mine came with a ceramic removable pot, not an aluminium one, so no searing.

Bought to replace a 20 year old original Slowcooker which cracked. Theres only 2 sometimes 3 for tea nowadays, so we thought the 1.5 litre was too small but the 6 litre plus sizes too big. the 3.5 is fine for us, using it for a main evening for 3 to 4 people with a little left over for a snack the following day. This Slow Cooker looks good , is easy to handle and is perfect for the job. The adjuster switch is a bit lightweight and on a pickky note could do with a little colour dot so you know what level you have switched to as you have to bend low to see if you've got it right. We liked the oval shape and the glass top has a good easy to grip handle. Instructions simple and adequate. We bought an updated cookbook at the same time - all in all a good quality at a fair price.

Very good quality as with all Andrew James products. Only issue I have is that the switch for temperatures isn’t very clear and could have had a better indicator

Je possédais déjà une mijoteuse de 6,5 litres bien pratique pour mijoté de bons petits plats quand on reçoit des invités. Une mijoteuse plus petite est supers pour 2 à 4 personnes.

produit de basse qualité a éviter -1 le mode lent rapide et automatique est manuel sans programmation (préciser nulle part) c'est a dire que si vous mettez une préparation en mode rapide (recommandation 4-5 heures) et que vous vous absentez 8 heures pour votre travail et bien la préparation cuit 8 heures.... -2 emboutissage a l'arrache de la cuve qui protège les résistances de chauffage et même pas de soudure pour rigidifier la carrosserie de l'appareil -3 couvercle en verre épaisseur très minimale au premier petit choc je pense qu'il vas se fendre.... point positif la prise électrique de correspondance avec les prise européenne jointe avec le produit et la cuve en fonte émaillée qui parait de bonne qualité

Livraison rapide et correspondante aux descriptifs, volume suffisant pour un repas 4 personnes ( ou pour 6 petits mangeurs) , très simple d'utilisation et esthétique, je recommande vivement

La température basse ne monte qu'à 80 et la haute pas plus de 100. J'en ai une autre qui fait 110 et 150 alors normal ou pas ?
