I ordered this not because I had a child who is going to take 11+ exam. I found it useful for any student from year 6 to build up their vocabulary.The packaging box contains 200 flashcards which are thick and smooth. One side is a word printed in orange colour, and the other side is the most important information about this word, eg. the part of speech, the meaning, example sentences, synonyms and antonyms, which help you to have an overall picture of this word. There is also enough blank space on the card to write down your own notes about this word. Flashcards are not only very useful for kids to study independently, but also very handy for parents to test their kids.The only downside about this product is the packaging box which was not sturdy and easily collapsed, which made it not an ideal storage box for these cards. I am using 4 big binder clips to keep the loose flashcards securely fastened together.

My daughter passed regional tests last year and will go to the Grammar School of her Choice here in the South East. We are very happy and proud of her but it was a struggle to prepare her.I am not an English native speaker and some of the words that are used on these flash cards I have never heard of in my life!!!I used to work as a Public Relations Manager in the country I was born in and used to work with language, writing press information and product descriptions day in and day out and here in my new home, I had to discover that I have the vocabulary of a 10 year old child :)The flash cards are very helpful for any child and as we can see, even for grown ups.They are made of sturdy, good quality hard paper and will not bend easily.There are 200 words described in an easy to understand way.I am very happy with this set and I gladly recommend it to anyone.

I honestly can't tell you enough about how much I love this vocabulary flash card set. I got in on a whim to use with my daughter through the summer holidays, and she is absolutely loving it. So far we have managed to do 10-20 cards almost every day - I hold a card up and say the word, and my daughter explains what it means (or if she doesn't know, she guesses) then I tell her the official explanation on the back. She LOVES the challenge, and I love it because it is a change from having YouTube on the telly and it gives us such an easy way to do something together that is also educational as well as fun. If you are a parent of a 10 year old, you need to get a set of these cards. Recommended, 11/10 :)

Pack of 2 promised, delivered only one item. I don't need to return. i just want a complete order. No provision for that I could find.
