This item is both efficient and easy to clean. The bread doesn’t quite toast to the edges but I can live with that. Overall I am pleased with the toaster.

It’s cool, I mean HOT. Looks good and warming rack is something amazing. Another plus point is that all major controls are in the front in addition to this the digital countdown is something as a bonus point. The only hiccup is that the steel body is not strong enough or sturdy. It feels like tin, thin and goes in and out when holding or handling the toaster with its body. How long it would last no idea. The weak body shakes the trust in its durability.

I bough the kettle and toaster - may be I have OCD - but there is no way I could have a kettle and toaster on the countertop that don't match ! Toaster was bought to match - simple clean controls. I love that you can set the level you want things toasted to, and you get a countdown timer to completion, so you can be ready for whatever you are toasting to pop up. Even toasting. Perfect appliance. The kettle is excellent - stainless steel inside, so nasty taste of plastic (remember if you can taste the plastic it means the plastic molecules are in the water you are drinking!). The temperature display is way more useful than I thought it would be - shows the temperature of the water when you fill the kettle, can see it rising as it heats up - so you can judge how long you have until its ready, but if like me you are doing several things at once - boil the kettle for tea - don't use it immediately I always used to flick it back on to re-boil ... with the temperature display just a quick glance lets you know if that is necessary ... if the water is at 97 really don't need to waste energy on re-boiling for 3 degrees. Written my review for both products together for simplicity. Highly recommend both the kettle and toaster. Well made, sleek crisp design, with useful features like the temperature and timer countdown on the toaster.

Updated review originally gave 4 star but now reduce to 3 because of uneven toasting, burnt edges even on level 2 setting Great looking toaster, 1 star off as if you're doing 4 slices of bread you have to put them upright to fit them in but the top of the bread doesn't get done so I had to turn them over and do a bit longer but results in burnt toast

I’m a UK buyer and admittedly this toaster was bought for the copper aesthetic to go with our new kitchen. It was long and thin which for our kitchen saved worktop space and fitted into a corner. I like the timer so you can actually relate toasting to minutes. As long as you don’t use it, it is a great toaster for our kitchen! HOWEVER… what ever way you try it with a standard UK slice of bread you cannot toast 4 slices simultaneously. If you put the slices in on their side as you we have always done with other toasters, it is not wide enough to fit them all in. So, logically, you stand the slices up the correct way to fit in 4 slices side by side, but then it is not deep enough, so the top few centimetres of the bread sticks out above the toasting elements and does not toast!!! A VERY POOR DESIGN.

Can’t fault this toaster. Some people have complained in their reviews that the slots aren’t suitable for large slices of bread. I have found exactly the opposite. You get 2 very long slots, so maybe not possible to toast 4 slices of large bread at once, but by inserting the bread sideways you can toast tall, long , thick, in fact any shape of bread perfectly. It has a marvellous digital timer on the front counting down in seconds so you know exactly how long you have left, and it flashes up which setting you have chosen as well. The setting dial is perfectly placed on the front and is super easy to use. The toast comes out really crispy and evenly browned, and is also really hot. Crispy on the outside but not hard or chewy. Much better than my old Russell Hobs toaster which took ages and the toast came out soggy and just warm. The toaster is very solidly built and looks good too.

This looks good and works well while saving space compared to a 4-slice side-by-side. The digital dial tells us how much left before having your bread ready. The top rack is a bonus for heating bakeries quick too.
