tasty food, good price
This is a nice bucket to have on hand! The foods taste good. I do wish that they were packaged in smaller individualized portions, as these are more family style sized bags for each type of food. Nonetheless, great to keep for emergencies or even to take camping for quick and easy meals. easy to cook up with some boiling water.

Cheap, Efficient, Effective.
I’ll give it a 5 star though I haven’t used it. There are enough good reviews on here and on YouTube to assume that this is a good product and reliable. Some people may not think it’s the most tasty stuff out there but the point of this - to me anyway - is emergency & survival. It will give you enough nutrients to survive, it is easy to cook, and in a convenient container for storage and to carry; That’s what’s important. Also, the container can be used for something else afterwards like miscellaneous storage, water storage, a stool, toilet, etc. Compare this to Readywise that gives only 40 more servings for twice the price. Buy two of these.

I'll Keep You Posted
My expectations for this emergency kit were exceeded. Despite my reservations based on other reviews, I decided to purchase it when the price was favorable. Upon arrival, I was pleased to find the bucket completely full, with all items securely packed to the brim. Contrary to some concerns I had read, none of the individual packages sustained any damage during shipping. The clear labeling and reasonable expiration dates on all items were immediately appreciated. Furthermore, the bucket's seal was incredibly sturdy and appeared to be of high quality. At this time, I am thoroughly satisfied with this purchase. I have also acquired a similar product from this company and intend to submit a separate review for it. Once I have had the opportunity to prepare and sample some of the meals from both kits, I will update my reviews with further insights regarding ease of preparation, taste, and overall quality.

Not horrible, fair price.
FINALLY got around to trying this bucket. I'd owned three of them for years, but decided to check them out. Like other Augason stuff, the pouches are large and you may need to reseal unused portions. I decided to try the mac & cheese, stroganoff, and chicken rice. Stroganoff was, even measuring carefully, very salty. Not terrible, but you might want to use slightly less of the powdered sauce mix than in the instructions. Chicken flavored rice was pretty dang good, although it took longest to cook on all of them. Mac & cheese was the real winner, tasted just like the regular stuff you'd make at home or buy at a deli. Nutritionally, these variety buckets aren't as rounded out as they could be, and heavy on sodium and carbs, but in a disaster or emergency situation, they're not a bad choice for the average prepper. Would definitely go a long way keeping you out of starvation if something really bad happened.

As it is long term survival supplies i can't really review the food but, it is very compact for the contents making it easy to store, delivery was quick, I ordered 3 and i was contacted by the company to let me know that their stock were almost out and what remained had damaged packaging so instead of sending out a sub-par product they refunded me for 1 item which was very appreciated, most other companies would just ship the damaged product regardless. Very happy with my purchase and company, will definitely be buying again.

This chicken flavored rice is supposed to serve 8 but the portion is so pathetic that it could only serve 3 adults and 1 child in an Asian family setting. I'm not even talking about generous American size serving! The rest of the food packs do no look like they're packed enough to meet the serving requirements. Just imagine when you are in a desperate situation and what you bought can't even cater to the needs of your family in an emergency! How very disappointing! Felt super short changed by Augason Farm. This is not the way to do business.

I've read a few negative reviews and I just wanted to share my positive experience purchasing this product. Not only did the package arrive earlier than expected which was a pleasant surprise but it came in very good condition with no tears or leaks in any of the food parcels. The manufacturing date shows Feb 2022 which is exactly what I hoped for because that means it'll have the full shelf-life advertised (25 years expiry). The only reason I've given this product 4 stars instead of 5 is because I have yet to taste any of the food as I only intend to use it for future emergencies. I would recommend for affordability, convenience and diversity of food options in one box. Just beware that it's incredibly difficult to remove the lid which has a thick watertight seal around it. Open it up before needing it in a crisis is my advice.
