This light is linkable to additional lights of the same type. It is a nice feature for future expansion. The mounting uses a spring clip that the back of the light snaps onto. They work well and are flexible in positioning as they can clip onto the light at ay position along the length of the light. UV output showed as medium with a UV test card at 9".

This product is very well built and has a lot of good points on it. For example, it is very bright so it can light up a really big chunk of your reptilian enclosure if not the whole thing. It also comes with a plastic case that surrounds the bulb to make sure that it doesn’t actually touch the enclosure so it won’t accidentally burn it. I will say to make sure that your enclosure is large enough to use this product because if not the length will be more of a hassle instead of being an upside.

This light works well for both my plants and my gecko. It provides the best lighting necessary for my bio active enclosure. Overall a great light, sets on top of my cage easy. Good product but it lacks a timer. Will still need a heating pad in the colder months otherwise I’m hoping this works out better than two separate lights.

You get a fixture as well as the bulb with this purchase, and for the price, you cannot complain. It's cheaper than the name brand. I cannot attest to the quality of the fixture or the bulb, but we'll see how long it last and I will update my review accordingly.

Great light that doesn’t give off enough heat to throw off my temperature gradient but still allows great natural lighting with UVB to light up my whole terrarium. The light comes with the bulb in place and was packed securely so I had no issues setting it up or anything! The power cord is also decently long.

...the included bulb burned out faster than expected. Replacement bulbs cost nearly as much as this setup, so while I'm happy to have a nice reflector hood kit, I'm a little disappointed in having to replace the bulb this quickly.

We are using this light in 120 gallon bearded dragon tank. It is a 10 out of 10 for brightness. These lights last a long time even over the recommended 6-month replacement time, however when using them for reptile such as bearded dragons they should still be replaced every 6 months. The ballast and the fixture are made of high quality materials. The light came packaged very well with styrofoam inside of a box. It arrived with no damage. Update: Unfortunately, I had to come back and lower the stars on my review. The light has blown already after less than a month of use. Maybe I just got a defective one, but it's very frustrating and disappointing.

Really lights up our bearded dragon's enclosure and although I don't have a light meter to verify the output, the light is full, bright, and makes the tank look like a million bucks! Highly recommend!
