This set of oils smells absolutely amazing! I’m a perfume person, and before a trip or a special occasion, I always look for a scent that will become part of that memory — so later I can go back to it and relive the moment through the fragrance. I took this set with me on a couple of tropical trips and used a different scent each day. I have to say, these oils really added character to my adventures! Here's my impression of each one: 1) Ocean Mist – Salty and fresh, with no sweetness. I smell strong aquatic notes, citrus, and greens. This is my personal favourite because it reminds me of my childhood days at the beach. 2) Coastal Linen – To me, it smells like toilet freshener, laundry detergent, or clean linen. It’s definitely a “clean” scent, but I didn’t use it much because it felt more like a household smell than something I’d wear. 3) Coconut Lychee – This one smells just like lychee to me! Even though there are supposed to be coconut notes, the lychee is definitely the most dominant. 4) Beach Samba – This one smells like a tropical fruit cocktail — fruity but still fresh. It’s not overly sweet, just fruity and happy. It gives off a joyful, sunny vacation vibe. There’s something nostalgic about it for me. 5) Sea Salt Bergamot – A slightly masculine scent, salty and fresh, with no sweetness. If Beach Samba is fruity and girly, this one feels more elegant or masculine — like a woman with character. 6) Pink Sands – This smells like a piña colada — sweet and vanilla-like, with coconut as the dominant note. Very warm and tropical. The scents are well blended, and the variety means there’s something for every mood — from fresh and nostalgic to fruity and flirty. Highly recommend if you love fragrance oils that evoke memories and atmosphere!

I bought these scent to use in melt in pour soap. Here's my very amateurish description of each fragrances: Ocean Mist: My least favorite, smell like just a strong cheap perfume with a hint of salt in the background. Sea Salt Bergamot: Nice sent, you can smell the salty ocean but clean haha. Pink Sands: My favorite, smell like a day by the beach with a nice floral background! Beach Samba: Second favorite. Smell like Papaya! Very fruity! Coconut Lychee: Smell just lychee, not much of a coconut here but still smell good if you like lychee. If you ever had a Lychee martini, smell just like it! Coastal Linen: Just like the name, smell like fresh laundry by the ocean. Nice "clean" scent. I needed about 20ml of fragrance for my soap so I actually mixed Pink Sand and Beach Samba together and it smells so good! Very tropical, love it! Overall I really like those scent, will definitely look at other fragrances from this brand.

I purchased Beach fragrance set and made soap. The scents are really nice! And in the box was a coupon for a free sample set of my choice, which I have just received. It's the same size box as the one I purchased, in Winter, and the scents in this box are really nice as well. The seller was great to deal with and the scents work great in soap. I will definitely purchase this product again!

I'm not sure if I'm a glass-half-empty or a glass-half-full kind of guy, but I'll start with the bad news first because I suppose that might give an indication of my disposition, along with my generally overriding thoughts about these scents. So the bad news first, and this is the overwhelming negative regarding this product/set, at least in my opinion, but straight out of the box I have to say, Coconut Lychee, well, let's just say I haven't thrown it into the garbage yet, although I have given it serious thought, and the only reason I don't is that I opened the box just a few minutes ago, well, maybe a couple of hours ago now as I'm writing this review, and I don't want to waste as these oils were fairly expensive. The scent should really be called Lychee Lychee, not Coconut Lychee, because if there's any coconut in there, it's not detectable, at all, not through the overwhelming and I would say somewhat revolting, lychee scent. I would add that I actually like lychee, both the taste and smell of the fruit, but here it is just so overpowering as to be offputting. I smelled it out of the bottle twice, the second time just to be sure, and I cannot say I am looking forward to smelling it a third time. Now onto some good news, the Pink Sands scent could actually be called Coconut Sands because it actually smells strongly of coconut, in a good way, and I would say it is either the best or second-best smelling scent in the set because I really like the Ocean Mist scent too, but they are very different. Now back to the bad news, the Sea Salt Bergamot, which sounds nice, really doesn't have much of a scent to it at all, certainly nothing of bergamot nor anything reminiscent of the sea, not to my nose at least. Okay, now, Coastal Linen, this is another subtle scent, but this one is pleasant and somewhat detectable, unlike the Sea Salt Bergamot, and it smells just as you would think given the name, such that I can kind of imagine some linen pants or sheets hanging and fluttering about in the wind on a clothesline on the beach. This brings me to scent number five which is Beach Samba, and this is the hardest for me to form an opinion on. The problem for me is that this scent is very strong, but it's too sweet while somehow being just a bit astringent at the same time. I cannot quite put my finger on it, but this scent smells familiar somehow, but I cannot say from what, maybe a weird fruit punch that smells a bit artificial and synthetic, I don't know. I wouldn't necessarily call it bad, it's not like the Coconut Lychee which is simply revolting, yes, I had to get that in there again, but the Beach Samba does not make me want to dance, not at all. I started with the bad news first so I could end with a bit of good news and justify, at least in my own mind, why I'm keeping these scents, and for me, that good news is called Ocean Mist. I guess I can say after writing all the above, that the Ocean Mist scent is what I bought this fragrance set for, it's just what I was looking for, an aqua/ocean smelling scent that evokes thoughts of seawater which was apparently all the rage back in the 90s, though I'm not old enough to remember. I was alive in the 90s, but was too young to have any interest in scents, that's perfumes or colognes, which is what I bought this set for, to make my own. With the Ocean Mist, I should be able to make a few bottles of a nice aqua cologne, and with the Pink Sands, I'll make something with a nice tropical island vibe. The Coastal Linen has a good clean scent, a more subtle Ocean Mist, and I like it. For me the Beach Samba is a bit of a mixed bag, I guess I see it as 50/50, but at least that means it has potential to be used for something. Again, the Sea Salt Bergamot doesn't really smell like anything to me, so I don't know, I'll probably mix it with something and see what I end up with, I'm thinking maybe a bright citrusy mix with lemon and lime essential oils. As for the Coconut Lychee, well, I will refrain from tossing it for now, and I think I'll maybe mix it with some floral scents hoping to get lucky and hit upon something that makes me less nauseous. Well, there you have it, my opinion on the six scents in this Beach fragrance set, I hope you found it to be of some value, be it entertaining or informative, if not a bit of both. Edit: After I got over my couple of weeks of laziness, I did get around to actually making some cologne out of these oils, but with very unfortunate results. I have since changed my rating from 3 stars to 2 stars. I am NOT a perfumer, but I do have a nose, and I have made a few good blends using some essential oils I own, my go-to is a mix of vanilla, sandalwood, cedarwood, frankincense, myrrh, with top notes of lemon, eucalyptus, and bergamot, but I wanted an aqua/beach/sea breeze scent and couldn't mix something I really liked, online recipes of lavender, lime, lemon, peppermint, sweet orange, and the like didn't do it for me, so I thought I'd give this Beach set variety pack a try as it has good reviews and scent names which were appealing to me, covering a lot of the notes I was looking for, Ocean Mist, Coconut, Pink Sands, Beach Samba, Coastal Linen, Sea salt Bergamot, each sound interesting and alluring, but they are the only "fragrance oils" I have, and I think they must be synthetic fragrances or something because they made me feel sick with a headache and nausea within minutes after each time I used them. I would just say that if you are sensitive to chemicals or synthetic scents, you might have a bad reaction to these oils and might want to steer clear, opting instead for natural oils/scents.
