Nice tool. It’s easy to use and includes instructions. Good for bending large copper tubes and small stainless steel tubes.

I bought this tool for my first metalworking project – building a cargo rack for my motorcycle. On my first try, I skipped the manual (who reads it anyway) and ruined a piece of pipe. But after that quick lesson, my second attempt went perfectly. I used it to bend 1/2" x 1/16" steel tubing, which is probably at the upper limit of what this tool is designed for. Still, it handled the job with ease and bent the tubing with impressive precision. For the price, this tool is an absolute steal. It delivers great performance without breaking the bank. Highly recommended for any DIYer or beginner getting into metalwork!

Functions for its intended purpose, but there is no instruction or way to mount it to a work bench without a heavy clamp. It takes some practice, I recommend ordering some pipes to practice on

Works as expected. If you jackleg or professionally install new technology mini split a/c units, you’ll need this bend tool. Cheaper, heavier made, fits all sizes you need.

I bended 5/8" OD, 1/16" wall aluminum, which is way over what this bender is designed for. I used the 1/2" groove and it scratched a little into my pipe. I had to use a 3 ft pipe extension and clamp the bender in a vice, and still it was hard to bend. The bender survived !

This tubing bender was not cheap. I was using this to bend 1/2" stainless thin-wall fuel line. On the third bend, the tube clamp hook broke in two. Upon further examination, it appears that this critical small part is only made of cast aluminum, instead of steel, which would explain how fragile it was. The tool is now useless. I cannot recommend this tool to anyone, and I suggest you spend a few more dollars and purchase a higher quality tubing bender which is more rugged and durable. What makes this worse is that the first use for this happened 6-weeks after I purchased it, so it is outside Amazon's return window...
