I have had no issues with this monitor after I convinced my computer that the monitor didn't have speakers and it should go back to using my old speakers for sound (as a competent computer user, this took about an hour). Once that issue was resolved, it was basically plug and go with this. The picture quality is great in my opinion. I stream videos on it along with general computer use. The location of the off button is hidden amongst several other buttons (aren't they all?) , but overall I think it is a good value and reliable so far after 8 months of daily use.

We got this Acer SB272 EBI 27" Full HD Monitor for my son to use as an external display for his laptop in college, and it’s been fantastic! Great monitor, good price and set up. Was not the same model as the photos online, newer model. Only issues I had was I was trying to match my current monitor and the photos where of my older monitor.

I bought this to replace a monitor that died in the middle of my work day. I use an external monitor connected to my work laptop, which has a ridiculously small screen, in order to be able to actually see my work. It died one day and I needed something quick but I was too lazy to go to the store, and Amazon had this one on sale for nearly the bottom of the price point among other models, so I gave it a try. It showed up in a day or two, it turned on and works great. Picture is crisp and bright, the bezel is thin and unobtrusive, and it has plenty of controls for tweaking the display. I've been using it for a minimum of 10 hours a day, 5 days a week for work, and then also in off-time when I hook it up to my personal laptop, and have not had any issues so far.

I’ve used two of these for two years now, both for gaming and work. I got them on sale for $100 each, which I felt was an impressive value. Cons: Not very bright (250 nits). In a normal room this will not be a problem. 1080 resolution. For common uses this is not a real drawback of any kind. 1080 is considered the low end of high definition. Stand is not particularly adjustable. I’d gladly pay another 5 or 10 bucks to have a better stand, but they’ve gone with keeping the price low, which is good for some. 100Hz refresh rate rules these out for all but casual gaming, when today’s cards and CPUs are pushing out a lot more frames. Pros: Light, thin, easy to operate. This is one of the most headache-free monitors I’ve ever used. I barely configured the display settings to get it to my liking. Priced right. For the most part, you’re looking at about double this price to move up to a respectable larger gaming monitor, and my taste in monitors is pretty lax. $140, or less on sale, is very cheap. I love that they have both VGA and DisplayPort inputs. If I wanted to use the monitor with an older computer that would be easy. I’ve had no technical trouble of any kind with these monitors. Conclusion: Good monitor for the money, on sale or not. They have served me well, and as I’m upgrading to bigger gaming monitors, they’ll be going to a friend.

------ 1080p Monitor in the age of 4K everything ------ PRO: 1. Needed a monitor for wife's desktop, this works great. 2. Thin on the top 2/3rds but the bottom is normal thick. Strange build, but okay. 3. Great picture quality, however, was little disapointed at view angle from the bottom. Yeah, we have this set a bit high, and it's hard to see from below. CON: 1. The big round base collects dust. 2. Those that got broken items, send it back, don't give 1 star you silly people, that is shipping, not product. 3. So small a space, wonder will the screen suffer heat issues.

This monitor is perfect for my needs. I am using it at my desk at home. I have it on an adjustable pedestal mount. It is not too heavy for it. The picture is good. It does what it should do. It has not given me any problems whatsoever. The price was excellent. I would definitely buy this monitor again.
