Cleans Your Kids Toys and Your Own Too!
This thing is great! WHERE HAS THIS BEEN MY WHOLE LIFE?! Here is me using this with hot water and dish soap to clean my two year olds toys (which it works great for by the way). You can run batches of toys through this which has greatly helped my wife’s sanity as well as my own. Keeps all his stuff clean, just be careful not to put anything too delicate in because there were certain toys you could tell it started to take paint off. Tough to show in the video, but you literally watch the dirt and crap come off which is incredibly satisfying. Just rinse them off and leave out to dry and your good to go. Anyways! I am always working on cars, motorcycles, and anything else I feel I have a reason to disassemble. I was tired of having to clean things by hand especially intricate stuff. I have to say this works a treat. If any of you poor souls reading this have ever had to clean a carburetor, this is for you. This is big enough I can fit my whole rack of four carbs from my 1980 Yamaha xs1100 in it. Which is absurdly fantastic. I’ve used it to clean many items like firearms, intakes, dirty or rusted hardware, car bracketry. Basically whatever I didn’t want to clean myself. AND it does it while you go figure out what to do next. It’s amazing. Pro tips: Make little brackets that hold the basket up and keep the feet OFF OF THE BOTTOM. Ultrasonic cleaners (especially ones that use cheaper transducers, the things that make the ultrasonic waves) don’t like when things are placed on the bottom of the pan. The transducers will eventually vibrate themselves off the bottom of the pan. Fill the tank with water. “Degas” it when it has new water by running it for 15 minutes with nothing in it. Fill small containers with cleaners and put parts in those, AND THEN put those containers in the ultrasonic which is filled with water. This way you don’t use as much cleaner and saves you money. Gasoline works great on grimed up hardware and pretty much anything else due to the detergents in it. It’s also very cheap. Be careful that what you put in it doesn’t have seals that may swell. Or any other cleaner for that matter. Make sure the level of water is between the taper in the tub (the tub has a part near the top where it lofts outward a bit). Keeping enough liquid in the machine will allow the machine to work better and more importantly, last longer. If it also has TOO MUCH it won’t work as effectively. If your time is valuable like mine, don’t bother using the heater to heat the water up. Put some water in a pot and get it hot on the stove and pour it into the tub. It’s way faster, and this way the heating feature on the machine can maintain the heat and won’t overwork the heating element either. The effects of evaporust are catalyzed in an ultrasonic. It works very well and works very fast. Don’t expect miracles and for the machine to clean off an 1/8” of grime and crud from items. Scrape a bulk of the trash off then toss it in and it will do the rest. This will still save you time, money, and your sanity. It is amazing how clean it makes stuff. As someone who prefers to make old shit into new shit, it’s a life saver. I hope this helps someone!

Works great!!
Not bad for price. It's a working ultrasonic cleaner with an ok size tub . It cleans great and I use it all the time. ( Note about the temperature thing ). Uhhh if you ever used one of these that cleans well understand that it generates heat. I don't believe there is a tank heater because by itself that's not what it does. What I believe the makers intended that everyone misunderstands ( like it wasn't obvious to me, I didn't think an ultrasonic cleaner needs a heater, that's stupid) you can activate the temp limiter so it shuts down when the water temperature reaches a set point. That's actually useful if you are cleaning something that might have stability issues at a given temp. I hope that unravels some mystery. It's a decent unit and at $45 ( I saved $5 by waiting for a deal offering) it's actually damn nice! P.s - duh! They are loud, all decent ultrasonic cleaners will any power are. Don't write a complaint about the noise.

I only wish I'd gotten a larger size...
I bought this mainly to clean bicycle chains and other small components. It works great. I used a 1 to 10 solution of Simple Green and the first test so thoroughly cleaned a chain I had already cleaned with a Park chain cleaner that it left a coating of dust and sand on the bottom of the machine. My one regret is that I should have gone larger, and anyone looking for a device to clean bicycle components should go for the next size up! Cassettes don't fit all the way into the fluid. I've cleaned them by flipping them, but geez, I should have spent a few extra bucks on the next size up. The only gripe is that it doesn't automatically stop heating the fluid to the temperature you set. You have to manually turn off the heater once the desired temperature is reached. Seems like such a small feature to include since it senses the temperature for the display.

Nice!
I have always deep cleaned my guns the hard way, which was complete disassembly, lots of scrubbing with a toothbrush, and some good degreaser. The problem with that is you always spot some grime you missed in the nooks and crannies. I bought this product hoping it would relieve me of some work. I wasnt disappointed in the least. My test gun is a Smith & Wesson M&P Shield 9mm that hasnt been cleaned for years. I mean allot of years. I got it cheap, and knew it was going to be nasty inside due to the lack of maintenance, and the guy carried it in a very dusty environment. I used Zep citrus degreaser ( bought on amazon) with this machine, and about a 6:1 water to degreaser ratio. I ran each batch of parts for 10 minutes in the solution I had mixed and heated. I used plastic 30ml medicine cups with a nickel in the bottom of each to hold the small parts like pins, and springs. The results are amazing. All the parts were spotless. For those of you who dont know, the M&P Shield has a sear disconnect lever that is painted yellow. This machine took of 100% of that paint off, now the part is just shiny chrome. It did NOT remove some exterior rust on the barrel near the muzzle, but I wasnt using the correct solvent for that, so I wasnt expecting it to do so. Also its worth noting that the unit came with a small clamshell basket of the type commonly used in dishwashers. It works great for small parts, and is a really thoughtful freebie. Overall I am very pleased. Though the machine is not silent, my cussing was kept to a minimum due to the easy way this thing works, so overall it was quieter. My dogs were right next to it and didnt even notice it, but they did notice I was eating a sandwich, well, WE were eating a sandwich. If you purchase used firearms, and even some new ones of Turkish origin, this thing will save you much work. Thanks for a great product!

best cleaner ever
This is amazing. I bought a smaller ultrasonic cleaner just for glasses and jewelry. I loved it so much I ordered this one the same day. It works exactly how it should. If I had to say one negative thing about it, it is loud. I will eventually buy a bigger one.

Size doesn't math the description on both sizes and one leaks.
I ordered this because it looked a lot like mine that just died. When I unboxed it I thought it looked small so I measured it, the listing for this said it was 25 x 16.25. The one I received was 20 1/4 by 12,and the bowl in it was really shallow so it's being returned. I've already ordered another and hopefully it will be the right one. It's the one the next size larger than this one.I will leave a review on that one as well. I hope somebody gets it right. Ok, got the new one this morning, the description says it is 24.7 x 15.9, but it's the same outside as the one I just returned, the bowl is a lot deeper on this one though so I decided I would just keep it, or that's what I thought anyway. I set it up to try it out but never really got the chance. After filling it with cleaning solution it started leaking on the work bench before I even got it plugged in and turned on, Not just a moist spot but a leak that was running out from under it. The leak is coming from the central bottom on the drain end. So this one will be going back as well and hopefully I can find one that is what it says and works. I ewally don't like writing negative reviews, but this is frustrating

Works very nicely
Works perfectly, as intended. Make sure to push the plug well into the back of the machine. If it's not tight, it won't turn on. Saw a video from another buyer showing it doesn't work. I'm sure the plug in the back is just loose. Also, I use hot water from the faucet, not cold.

Worth the price
I purchased this mainly for Cleaning carburetors. It works awesome for that. I had a log splitter that I just couldn’t get it to run perfectly using carb cleaner. So I took it off put it in this for three cycles and Walla. The log splitter is like brand new. In the photos, you can see all the gunk that was just in one of the cups. The water is so filthy. You can’t even see the bottom of the basket. And this was all after using carb cleaner. I would highly recommend this to anybody that works on, everything. Definitely worth the money.
