This car mount has passed with flying colors.The base is anchored and very stable, and the magnets hold my phone and align perfectly. I don’t have to wrestle with it to get it off or anything but the hold is firm and secure.I can switch to landscape view if I want to in a second. It’s very easy to use, especially since I've been used to using a large, clunky one that I have to grapple with.This car mount is refined, telescopic - so it can be positioned exactly where I want it, and doesn’t scream look at me. Its design looks great.This is a premium mobile phone car holder and should work with any MagSafe charge-compatible phone. If your phone or case isn’t MagSafe, a magnetic ring is provided to stick to the back of your phone or phone case. This is so that it magnetically sticks to the holder.Two attachments are included - one to attach to any horizontal or vertical vent, with a tightening nut to ensure it remains secure (but locks out to prevent over-tightening).Or if you prefer, there’s a suction cup with a tightening lever attached firmly to the dashboard.Two things to note, this does not charge your device, and will not attach to circular vents.Overall, I really like this adaptor - it’s an excellent tool to hold your phone in the car safely and securely. I’ve even taken mine on holiday for the rental car so I can use my phone as a SatNav. I took both fittings with me (in case I have circular vents, the dashboard adaptor remains an option). The fittings are also premium, with a few touches (the suction cup lever and tightening nut lockout) worth the extra dollars.They tick all the boxes. Firm hold on dash. Can also be mounted to windshield or vent clip on most vehicles. If you have leather or round vent clips (usually found on high-end automobiles) this will not work.

I like the sturdiness of the vent mount. I was able to position it right where I want to away from the sun. The vent mount is very easy to install. Love the tightening function with clicks letting you know you're not over tightening! Very smart! I haven't used the suction cup because of my dashboard design. Just by looking at it I can tell it's very well built with quality materials. Another bonus are the two metal rings you get for magsafe charging! You can apply it to your case and the magsafe charger. So now you can wirelessly charge your iPhone with the convenience of magnetically holding the phone! I love it.

Don’t get me wrong, it works. Magnet is super strong and holds anything I attach to it. I love the color and it holds to my windshield. Design is simple and that is where my mixed feelings lie.
