surprisingly amazing
i bought this rod just to see if i would like telescopic poles, not expecting much because it was super cheap. it lasted for almost 2 years and took some serious abuse, the eye on the rod of the very end broke, but i just cut that section off and kept casting and it works fine. its a great starter to try telescopic poles for the money. i recommend

GARBAGE DO NOT BUY!!!!!!
Terrible product, bought this for my sons easter basket, and the whole thing is a joke! The pole is as flimsy as a blade of grass, and the line provided was the worst quality I have ever seen! This rob is only ideal for crappie, and other small pan fish, with that being said why have a baitcaster for pan fish, when the chance of a decent bass hitting is pretty high??? I could not get the brakes set properly on this reel no matter how much I messed with it. I put good line on and it helped a little bit, but as soon as my son hooked into a bass the rod snapped!!!! Now the bass he hooked was not a monster in fact I was able to land the fish even after the pole broke, and when I weighed it he weighed a whole .86lbs!!!! No crazy hook set just normal fishing! Screw this Chinese made garbage! DO NOT BY THIS JUNK!!!!! IF I COULD GIVE A ZERO RATING I WOULD!

Super compact bait caster rod and reel.
What a bargain, a bait caster reel and rod for a great price. Excellent quality for the price I had paid. Very compact and fits right into my backpack making it easy to transport to whereever I plan on fishing for the day. What a cool item . What a great purchase.

If you're going to go the cheap route on a rod and reel, go to Walmart. This thing isn't worth the breathe I was breathing while ordering it smh. Tip of the rod is so thin and fragile that it snapped while putting line on it. Tried the reel on another rod since this one broke, and the reel is just as terrible. Definitely only took a nickel to make these. I've had plenty of 20$ rods that were better than this thing and it was 30 lol don't waste your time or money
