Did not know something like this existed. Got it for my nine year old who just got her period. It worked perfectly with mild flow. Used for an hour and a half and then changed right away. No spotting when she sat on towel. I don't know how would it work with heavy or medium flow. I would probably skip it for heavy days. The sizing is for grown women and not teens. I ordered several sizes. Size S was equal to girls size 16-18, size XS was equal to girls size 12-14, and size XXS equal to girls size 10. Panties all have women's cut. Slightly longer length to accommodate for women's size rear. In size small they are equal to children's sizes. But smaller than that sizes are longer. It still fit fine on my child. My daughter is on the end of size 10. She can wear 12-14, but is a little loose. Same with this bikini. XS was fitting her a little loose, but she could wear it. When she came out of water there were wrinkles on it. Size XXS fit her little on tight size, but she could wear it. I whish that existed when I was a kid. It has very slim padding on the bottom. You can't tell it is for periods, looks just like regular swimsuit. On the back there is transparent plastic hanging tag that hangs on a loose string and it is so bothering it needs to be removed. After that you can't tell what size is it. Still a great purchase.

Absolutely love! Perfect for light to medium flow, and doesn’t look chunky or weird at all! It also fit really nicely, so the sizing charts were very accurate. Comfortable, good coverage, and great for times you want to swim but on your period!

When it comes to swimwear and accessories, it's really important that you get something that fits properly because if it doesn't it be too uncomfortable, or it will not stay on. I normally wear an extra small women's and have the following petite frame: Height: 5'3" Waist: 24.5" Hips: 30" Weight: 108lbs Normally, I wear a size XS, and these fit a lot looser than expected so I'd have to say that they fit too big based on the sizes provided by the manufacturer. I put this bottom against my bikini bottom which is an extra small and you can clearly see that this swimwear bottom is considerably larger than my bikini (see pic). The swim bottom is made of 85% nylon and 15% spandex. Both are manmade materials, and are polyester blends. They have many beneficial properties for swimwear, elasticity, water resistant, quick drying, etc. however, they also tend to pill. I don't think this one will be any different. The care instructions say to hand wash in cold, but I've always washed put all my swimwear in a garment bag and threw them in the wash and they came out fine. I air dry all my swimwear, but the label says it can be put in the dryer on low. Just remember not to use any bleach. Overall, the swim bottom appears to be of decent quality. I ended up giving it to someone else who is one size larger than me and it seems to fit them much better. It's comfortable and the seams don't scratch or chafe. Everyone should have a menstrual swim bottom, and it should be packed with every vacation that involves water. If you don't mind a high-rise that sits at the waist, this is a good addition to your wardrobe.

I got a swimwear bottom and I love it! The black color is classy and goes with everything. It fits nicely and feels comfy. Great for swimming or just hanging out by the pool. Super happy with it!

I have others and they don't leak. These ruined my towels. Wore for about 1hr in pool light flow but ,came out through sides on the towel. American flag heavy towel.

Bought this for my teenager and she loves them!

The fit was great. The overall style is wonderful. However, even with a light flow this leaks! Make sure you have a backup plan .
