These Gold PEI build plates work so well for printing PETG
I primarily print with PETG and have had great luck with the PEI sheets. I am still an advocate for liquid glue to keep parts solid to the build plate. Afterall, I run a 3D printing business, so I can't afford to have any prints come loose from the bed. But, after trying these PEI (gold) sheets, I can confidently say that I will NOT need glue when printing PETG on this build plate. Everything has been sticking really well, and letting loose as soon as the plate cools.I'm a big fan of the subtle textured surface on this build plate. Some of the textured surfaces are "too much texture". This one is just right. The smooth side is basically glass smooth, which is nice when you want it smooth. I have used glue on the smooth side (Vision Miner nano adhesive) with no issues. I haven't had any issues with the PEI surfaces themselves. I just wash with soapy water and dry. They look and function as if new. I have about 50 complex prints on this build plate so far.I would buy this again in a heartbeat.

Edit: Great Customer Service for Zero adhesion issue
Edited after hearing from customer service. They helped me tweak my settings and BOOM, it works perfectly. Thanks!Original post: Terrible. I've washed it, added glue... All the things. Nothing sticks. Total crap.

Patern peels off!
Worked good for a few prints and then the pattern started peeling off when removing prints from the build plate.Edit. Seller is awesome! They offered to send me a new plate to try out. Will try again and hopefully have better results with longevity. The plate did leave a really nice pattern before it peeled.

Love this bed, use it on both my Bambu Lab X1 and Ankermake M5, fits both
I ordered this bed to replace using diffraction grating film or 3m vinyls. The product arrived same day and packaged nicely for safe transport.I absolutely love PEI beds and love this bed for the unique diffraction pattern it produces on the first layer of my prints. Previously I used diffraction grated film taped onto my beds, or 3m vinyl wraps like carbon fiber or forged carbon fiber, however the longevity of usage is not so great with film or vinyl. When I use these beds with the diffraction pattern side up (it has dual sides, normal PEI textured or the diffraction grating side (triangles) ) I mostly stick with PLA and TPU. Ideaformer states that you should only use PLA, TPU, PETG, or ABS, however I have limited success with PETG and ABS due to poor bed adhesion. The maximum rated temp for these beds is a solid 180c and I don't know many people that ever set their bed past 100c, most printer beds are not even capable of going over 110c. I have no issues with PLA and TPU adhering to the bed. I set bed temp to 65c for both PLA and TPU.I use this bed on both my Bambu Labs X1 and my Ankermake M5. On the Ankermake M5 it is a little larger than the bed itself but this hasn't been an issue at all. I have completed several hundred prints on the Ankermake M5 using these beds with zero issue. Some people cut the bed to perfect size but I find that unnecessary, plus I can swap the bed from my Bambu to Anker printer without issue. Ideaformer makes these beds with 3 different patterns, small triangles (this one), carbon fiber look, and "starry night". I own all 3 and love them!To ensure the best results... hopefully your first layer game is on point!I would definitely recommend this to others!

Prints don’t stick and needed to be deburred
I bought this “Diamond PEO+Carbon Fiber PET” and was thoroughly disappointed with it. After months of successful prints on my Bambu X1 the plate instantly made my printer unreliable. After tweaking a few easy things in attempts to get prints to stick, I realized the plate was defeating the “just works” ethos of the printer. The few prints I did get to stick had incredibly subtle visual patterns from the build plate, and was in no way worth the added effort and wasted filament from failures. On top of that, when the plate was delivered it didn’t sit flat due to glue and/or burrs on all the edges, so I had to spend time with a razor blade finishing what should have been done in the factory.

BEST PLATE
Absolutely love this build plate! It works so good and saves me money from buying a BambuLab plate. It’s just as great quality, if not better!

Sticks like glue - edit 3 month follow up
I was getting tired of using glue stick when I printed petg, abs, etc and I am not a fan of the textured surface look on most projects. That's when I noticed this build plate. I noticed several others noting they could not get anything to stick. Since I print primarily in petg I always clean my build plates with IPA before printing. Before I used this one I use a no-scratch Scotch bright sponge (the scrubber side) and 90% IPA to give the PEO side a thorough scrub. First print with petg stuck like there was gluestick on the build plate. I normally am impatient and will flex the hot build plate to remove the prints so I can continue printing. With my first print using this build plate I let it cool and the prints were already loose. The only problem is there is no scan code for the build plate so the X1 will throw and error that it cannot find the build plate scan code. Easy fix - head over to Wham Bam and buy a set of the BL code stickers they sell for cheap. You can also find versions you can print and "glue" to the build plate, but Wham Bam's work like a charm. Just make sure you buy the right one. I use the high temp sticker on the PEO side and select High Temp Plate in Studio.I am looking forward to trying other exotics (ie PET and PA) on the textured side. If you regularly use filaments that require glue stick and are tired of it like me, this build plate may just be what you are looking for.3 Month follow up - sadly these plates just do not hold up. After 3 months the textured side (the black, patterned side) is starting to come off with prints (I primarily print with PETG). Sure I can use the gold side as my real goal it to stop using glue sticks, but I would have hoped that the patterned side would have held up better. Dropping to only a 3 star rating.

Nice plate .
Loved the pattern it left after the print was done . Printed on Bambu lab P1P . Selected textured pei plate in the slicer as I found a lot of people suggested and that’s it . No lifting on my test print and adhesion was good .

Finish has peeled off after only 1 month: UPDATED
Worked well for 2 weeks then the finish started to peel off. Don't waste your money of this seller, buy from somewhere else.UPDATE: Seller sent a replacement plate to resolve the issue. Cannot say if this one is any better but the resolution is good and done in a timely fashion.

Well Built- Sticks and Removes Filament Perfectly
I had tried several other plates but found the filament did not adhere well. With this one, I cleaned it with original Windex and installed on my Bambu x1 carbon. It works perfect.Filament sticks well, and when cold Filament just pops off. This was with the smooth black carbon fiber side.I have run many hours of printing, pla pla+, petg and all socks and removes perfectlyI installed the plate qr code and it was recognized fine.Next I will test the textured side.
