I have lots of solar lights in the garden - these look simply fab (no charging panel on show - you simply plonk them in day/sunlight and they charge)... once the sun has set, they flicker and glow romantically and actually give off a fair amount of light - they are very lightweight and the same size as church candles (three different in one set, in my case) So impressed I ended up buying two sets of these lovely lights. NOTE: they work with a rechargeable battery so, if they ever do stop working (and they've been glowing for months now) I'd replace the battery. They are water proof but shouldn't sit in water (as you can remove the base to turn them off / replace the battery). These are the first lights to come on at dusk and the last to switch off at dawn (were still on at 6am the morning after a fairly overcast day in May!) Deffo recommend

These solar candles are exactly what I was hoping for. They give off a lovely, gentle flickering glow that looks just like a real flame — without the fire risk! I popped them into my outdoor lanterns and they came on automatically at dusk, staying lit until dawn. No switches, no fuss — just leave them in a sunny spot to charge. Even after a cloudy day, they still lasted through the evening. Waterproof too, so I don’t need to bring them in when it rains. They really add a warm and welcoming feel to the garden without any maintenance. They don't have the longest runtime, but that might because mine are on a windowsill in lanterns. When "burning" they do look very nice and you honestly could believe those are real candles. Quality feels okay - especially for indoor use. They're a simple product with no colours timing options. They come on when it gets dark and flicker decoratively until the battery goes flat. They cast a reasonable amount of flickering light which is bright enough to read by and gives a room a lovely homey, cosey olde-worlde feeling.

Really happy with these. They are bright, battery life seems fine, stays on for a good long while, easy to use just turn on, are a nice amber glow and relatively affordable. They look somewhat 'plastic' during the day but worth it for how beautiful they are in the dark.

Nice candles, work well compared to others I have purchased from different supplier. Happy with them.

There's a solar aa battery inside which I assume you can replacs, but it's hard to see where the solar panel is and once it's switched on it is on permanently (unlike others where it senses the light and switches off). If you are using these indoors they are probably fine as you can turn them on and off, but I wanted to use these outdoors inside a lamp, so the battery will likely drain quickly. The plus side is the light is nice and the flicker is realistic.

What a disappointment, I set the candles up and for 2 weeks, they were brilliant. Then 2 of them stopped after 24 mins for one, and even less for the other one. The largest candle is working well. If the 2 thatcfailed continued to work, I would have given a 5 star.
