Wild Africa: Part 1 - Safari Adventure [Blu-ray]

I watched this 49 min ALL REGION dvd in blu ray and found it explained about certain animals in great detail, namely - giraffe, wildebeest, lions, wild dog, mongoose, buffalo, hippopotamus, rhinoceros, zebra, leopards and weaver birds. Other animals featuring in the dvd were tortoises, elephants, rhinoceros dung beetles, waterbuck, warthog impala and baboons roaming in the park showing the importance of conservation. The program shows people on a cross-country jeep ride seeing the incredible wildlife across the Sabi Sands safari and the type of accommodation available. (please note this dvd is sponsored by International Touristic Solutions, Private Nature Reserves and Game Lodges) I would not recommend anyone paying the top price.

This was simply a run-of-the-mill plug for the protection of African wildlife. Little opportunity was taken to use 3-D to make this film clip at least exciting.

I have just watched the documentary both in 3D and 2D and find the quality and content of the filming superb. This is a must for anyone interested in wildlife especially in Africa.

Brilliant in 3d

First, I didn't get this at Amazon, but instead used a birthday gift voucher from a well known dvd/cd high street store.

After the good revue's I was really disappointed, there was little sense of danger and the narrator didn't take the viewer into the habitat of the animals as David Attenborough...

The Blu-Ray and 3D effects are very good on my Samsung UE55 CTV using Active 3D specs, played on a Smsung Player, but the content of the video is so tame, boring even, I almost...
