Gatsby Japan Styling Wax Ultimate & Shaggy 75g

Discovered this stuff in the Philippines. Had to buy some when i got back - its the best hair product I've used. It's a bit like cement for your hair - it looks really runny initially - but within minutes it sets and keeps your hair in place for longer than any other product I've used unless you wash your hair properly. This product kept my mohawk/faux-hawk standing for 3 days in a row in just one application! Great stuff - wish they started selling it in the UK!

With that class name, it's like a little personal assistant putting your hair into place. "Spiky and tousled, sir? Very good, sir." Superb hold that looks more natural than a lot of its contemporaries on the market, it's now my go-to each morning. Although I know it's designed for the Asian market I can confirm it also works on my horrifically thin white-boy hair in the big Final Fantasy ridiculously-spiky style I've been pursuing for a while now. Can be locked in extra secure with a quick spray blast if needed, and is easily reworked. Wet your hand, restyle and Gatsby keeps it where you want it. Genuinely impressed with this stuff! Smells fruity, but not in a way that makes it seem super feminine, if you're worried about that sort of stuff.

I have been using this product from a long time (2-3) years. I have very curly and unruly hair and many other products which I tried did not work. This one worked and I continue to use it wherever I go. It does it’s job and hold the hair for a day and half.

I thought it would have a stronger longer lasting hold. It says it has extreme hold but definitely not on straight Asian hair. Medium hold at best.

I have spent a small fortune over the years trying different hair gels, wax, sprays and anything else that has promised a firm hold …but nothing has been as good as this product I recently purchased! The Gatsby Solid Mohawk Extreme & Firm Wax is a Godsend for my pompadour quiff!! You only need to use it sparingly too! It stood up to a very windy day with barely a hair out of place. Would I recommend this product? ABSOLUTELY!! Definitely worth 5 stars!

Bought this to give my son a Mohawk for his school performance and it held his quite thick hair in place perfectly! Washes out really easily too.
