My 8yr old bookworm loved the books!
Really good book for a 7-8yr old child. Although he read them over two nights so they didn't last long.

Fun read!
These books are great. Probably most suitable for 8-9 years, but my 7 year old enjoys them with some support on the vocabulary. Young Star Wars fans will love them! The pace is quick, and keeps them gripped. Great for encouraging reluctant readers!

Go-to bedtime reading for a six-year old Star Wars fan
This is the third full book in the Star Wars Adventures in Wild Space series. All these books are fast paced, entertaining reads which have quickly become go-to bedtime reading for our six-year old. Set at the beginnings of the Empire, the series follows Lina and Milo Graff, whose attempt to rescue their space cartographer parents pitches them against a series of well-developed Star Wars villains including the fearsome Captain Korda of the Imperial Navy. The Graffs' are very approachable heroes - ordinary children (no magical Jedi powers to save the day), whose ability to question and investigate both leads the reader through the Star Wars universe and invariably saves the day. This third book sees them take on the planet Lothal, where they take on both a local mob boss and the mysterious bounty hunter 'the Shade'. The heist scene is particularly compelling and we were forced to read two chapters back-to-back that evening. The large print and fast pace make this a potential self-reader, but for now the complex Star Wars lexicography (Kowakian monkey-lizard anyone?) and cliff hangers and the end of each chapter mean this makes a better bedtime story.

I found this book perfect for 7-10 year old children and I think it ...
This is the third book in the Adventure in Wild Space series. It continues from where the last book left off catching up with brother and sister duo Lina and Milo who are searching for their kidnapped parents. Once you pick up and start reading this book it's very difficult to put down as it's so gripping and addictive. You can feel your own adrenaline pumping as Lina and Milo overcome various obstacles as they search the Galaxy for their missing parents. From evading capture from Rask Odai and his rogue crew to meeting the elusive DJ who has been broadcasting secret transmissions that they have been trying to follow. Disaster strikes when CR-8R's head with secret information stored within is stolen and when they get captured by someone who they have befriended. Will Lina and Milo ever escape and be reunited with their parents?? You will have to read the next book to find out!!! I found this book perfect for 7-10 year old children and I think it does appeal to both boys and girls. The font size made it easy to read and the illustrations helped to picture yourself upon the Whisper Bird and racing around the Galaxy. I would strongly recommend buying the whole series. If like me you get impatient and can't wait to read the next book to find out if Lina and Milo make it though and whether there will be a happy ever after to this story.
