Works great in my opinion
I have a 55 gallon that I struggled keeping the levels right. I bought this and they seemed to magically stay perfect now with no algae issues. I did keep my tradition filter to help clean but my tank never held this steady before I got this. I’m honestly quite pleased.

Cures green water at a reasonable price!
This product is awesome. I had a serious "green water" problem that the murk made difficult to see most of my finish. I had tried many solutions with no improvement.This item fixed it. It took 3 weeks for it to completely clear (55 gallon aquarium) but now the water couldn't be clearer. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

WARNING! Uvc light power switch exploded
CAUTION! night family woke up due to a loud noise , we could not find the source. A couple of days later I was getting water change products from under stand, and noticed debris on the canister filter and cabinet shelves luckily a fire didn't happen. CAUTION!

Missing lid.
Product box delivered was re-taped and package inside was already open and missing the lid!Update: Contacted the seller. They immediately sent a replacement within 5 days. The quick customer service response was great.Filter isn’t as strong as I expected. I plan on blocking some of the side openings to ensure the water flows through the filters. Overall, not bad. I like the sleek design.

Short Term Use
Used 6 hours per day for 7 months then bulb burned out. Would cost comparable to a new unit if your could find it. Bulb is soldered onto the switch box!

Not a main filter
Also, not a terrible product, I bought for a 40 gallon breeder aquarium, it does ok, but filter filled up fast. I think it will be a good supplement filter and I will be adding more filtration soon to be my main filtration. I like that it is slender and doesn’t take up much space inside, flow is good. In order to service it, I did need to take it out of the aquarium, it needed a rinse after about 10 days.

This cleared my neon green watered tank in a week!
For the money, this is by far the best filter I’ve ever had! I was running into issues with algae blooms in the water of both my goldfish tank and my axolotl tank and these filters cleared both a 36 and 40 gallon tank in just a weeks time! I was a bit skeptical at first, but sure enough my water is crystal clear now!
