Twelve cuttlebones for tiny dinosaurs with strong opinions
This is one of those purchases that feels weirdly medieval. Like, yes, hello, I am buying a bundle of calcium bones for my household creature so her shell/bones stay strong and she doesn’t look at me like I’m neglecting basic kingdom infrastructure. It’s a 12-pack, which is great because anything “calcium supplement” tends to run out right when you forget it exists, and then you’re panic-scrolling listings like an irresponsible court jester. Having a stack on hand is the move. They’re natural cuttlebone pieces, decent size, and easy to offer as a supplement. No strange chemical smell, no weird coating, no “why is this sticky” moment. Just straightforward calcium source you can add to the routine. Now — Bob The Magical Talking Turtle takes shell health personally. Bob The Magical Talking Turtle’s shell isn’t just a shell. It’s an emerald, diamond-hard shield. It’s a kinetic weapon. It’s an instrument of Shell Harmonics that can read the heartbeat of a place. In short: it is not allowed to be weak. Not in this economy. When I put one of these in her realm, Bob The Magical Talking Turtle approached it like an ancient artifact offering. She sniffed it, gave it one slow, deliberate bite like she was testing a coin for authenticity, and then went full sage mode. She didn’t devour it like a maniac. She treated it like a resource — like “yes, calcium will be taken under advisement.” And that’s honestly what you want. Something safe, simple, and consistent that supports shell/bone health without you having to turn into a supplement scientist. Sock lore moment, because Bob The Magical Talking Turtle always makes everything about her legend: in her collection there are socks woven from sunlight, moonbeams, enchanted algae, lava silk… and they’re preserved through time and space so they never fall apart. That is the exact energy I want for her real shell: durable, stable, preserved, ready for the next adventure. Practical notes: Easy to use as a supplement option. 12 pack is great value and reduces “oops I ran out” emergencies. Natural, simple, does what it says. If you keep a tortoise, turtle, snail, or other creature that needs calcium support, this is a solid, boring-in-the-best-way purchase. Bob The Magical Talking Turtle approves. She also wants you to know she considers calcium a “structural blessing,” and she would like it served on schedule.

Birds LOVE these!
I have 20 budgies and they go thru these cuttlebones like people do chocolate! They love them! I love the packaging they come in as I've had these for years and NEVER had a broken one! The cuttles are always nice and thick and my durtee burdee bunch can reduce one to powder in 2 days. If they're happy, I'm happy!

Cuttlebones various sizes pros and cons
These cuttlebones are as what they are intended to used for supplemental and breaking trimming maintenance For the price you get a set of 12 pieces as stated. Various sizes. Some probably would say misleading since it does say 4-6” and photo looks like same size, but we only got x2 6” bones and somewhat thick. The rest vary in size and are much thinner and will not last very long and most likely will break easily. If you have a small bird or tortoise most likely be ok and it works great. Larger bird or torty will not last. However if you are just using to scrape the calcium then all will be good. For convenience I would just buy the jar powder instead For me personally these will be ok and work for short term but it does say medium and you do get two as stated 6” bones The seller does have them in a plastic bag and uses a box to store them in Ours arrived in one piece none broken Would I order again most likely but a larger size and hope for consistency of size Thanks

My Turtle Loves These and Uses Them Regularly
My turtle absolutely loves these cuttlebones. He uses them all the time, and it’s a great way to provide natural calcium without any hassle. They’re easy to place in the enclosure, and I like knowing they’re 100% natural. It’s nice to see him actually interact with them instead of ignoring them like some other supplements. Overall, a great calcium supplement and something I’ll definitely keep on hand.

So thin and small my budgie flips it over!
While my budgie loves the taste of the cuttlebone, it is way too thin and breaks easily making it very frustrating for both of us as it does not stay in a holder at all so she flips it out quickly and it ends up on the "floor" of the cage. I thought it was a great price but not worth it since I now have to purchase some other brand.
