Works great!

I keep the head rest up on my truck so this works well for me. When no one else is in the vehicle, I easily turn the hook around to the front seat and hang my purse. When someone else is in the passenger seat I can rotate the hook around and hang it behind the seat. The best bonus is that it unfold and turns into a phone hook for my back seat passengers. I didn't even realize it did this when I ordered it.

I previously had a set of car hooks that were just the loose sort that hooked around the headrest posts. Those did the job but were prone to noisy rattling if they weren't loaded down. These are a major step up with a latch that can put them firmly in place or just loose enough to be rotated as needed. The main drawback to these is that the rubber inside the latch mechanism that keeps things secure and quiet is prone to breaking down over time, especially if you put heavier items on them like backpacks or loaded up purses. The color inserts will fade over time as well, so don't expect the blue or red to stay as vibrant, but the fade doesn't make them unpleasant to look at.

Can’t lower or adjust headrest

Doesn't sit flat for 23 traverse. Serves ot purpose but leans upwards more than anything. As extremely hard to close too.

So I accidentally ordered the gold instead of the blue, so my dislike of the color is really just on me. Overlooking that, these work pretty well. Initially, one of the two hooks really didn't want to clasp tight, but after a bit of struggle we got there. That being said, once these were installed, even at the tightest they could go, they still had some wobble. Not a ton but I got these because I hoped they would stay in place unlike the previous hooks I had that would swivel around and stab me in the neck. It seems like it might take a lot for these to do that, but it is still def possible. Other than that, these seem very sturdy and quite useful! I was worried they would stick out too far, but they really don't. Just enough to clear the bulk of the chair back. Good purchase if you are like me and practically live in your car!
