Great Bow for the $buck🏹
Great performer at an entry level price! I have several TopArchery Recurve Takedown style bows but this was my first experience with an ILF model. If I have any complaint it is that the black paint on the limbs is prone to chipping. Reality check? It’s an under $120 bow. What it does deliver is a tremendous value providing a level of quality and accuracy one would expect in bows costing $hundreds more. I found it easy to set up and a joy to shoot. I would recommend watching several videos on how to set up an ILF Recurve. You can always take it to a competent bowyer but you miss out on the learning experience. It will shoot pretty well right out of the box but some tweaking and minor upgrades really improve its performance. I opted to replace the grip for one that fit my hand better and added a Bicaster magnetic rest and plunger assembly. I did shoot it off the shelf for a few weeks however and it was fine. Overall? Great Bow for the buck$

Awesome bow for beginners
Exactly as pictured, works perfectly. As a complete beginner, I'm very satisfied with the archery experience this bow gives me!

Better than expected
I selected this bow as a low-end introduction to the ILF form factor. Basically, a learning experience for me to decide if I liked the idea and shooting characteristics. I found it fine for my intended purpose. It was a tad out of limb alignment out of the box. But correcting the issue was a good lesson and one I was looking for anyway. The cosmetics and finishing level on the recurve limbs was not perfect, but something I could live with at this price point. On the positive side, they shot fine and seemed quick. Overall, better than expected. A couple of short heads-up issues just FYI: I ultimately set this up with longbow, foam core limbs for (mostly) pure traditional shooting. That is off the rest. The arrow shelf has a nice radius, but the sight window is cut quite a bit past center requiring the strike plate to be built up with leather to get the arrow center shot and tuned. {photo} Also. the limb bolts were very tight and arrived in the bow without the set screws tightened. So, I tried the included hex wrench and found it to be too short and undersized to the point that it lacked sufficient torque to move them as issued. I did get them moving with a properly sized tool. After that, adjusting the tiller was no problem. If you are thinking about this as a first bow, I would suggest that a simple, one piece, recurve or longbow in a manageable weight would be a better choice. Get the basics of shooting form under your belt in the simplest way possible way until you are busting off nocks and feathers in tight groups at 20 yards. You could get yourself in tuning trouble unless/until you are very familiar with bow tuning and the consequences of tiller adjustment, brace height, arrow spine etc. The benefits of the ILF system include limb alignment, limb selection, tiller adjustment advanced arrow rest selection as well as weight and balance tuning stability and vibration dampening depending on your shooting style. Features and quality evolve as the price moves up.

ILF 62” recurve
I’ve been shooting bows since 1968. ILF is rather new to me. What I can tell you is this bow immediately became a personal favorite. Great grip, smooth drawing, quiet, easy to assemble, very accurate with good speed.

Compact
This was a great tool to get back into recurve shooting. I'm still using it after purchase. I like that it is compact and easy to put together

Well worth it
Bought it for my wife and she loves it, considering getting me one too. Quick assembly and additional items I purchased put on it. Had her out shooting within 10 minutes of it arriving. Grip is very comfortable.

Difficult to install ILF limbs, limbs are compressed fiber
The bow arrived after Prime day special of $110.00. Good packaging. Instructions are included. The ILF limbs were difficult to install. The mounting tab to riser was very tight. Added some Vaseline and wiggled the limb into place. Not a good experience for a new user and a new bow. To remove, the limbs could be wiggled off with some effort. You could see metal wear on the riser where the spring tab connected. The limbs don't seem to be a fully wood/fiberglass laminate. As shown in the pictures, there may be some wood strips laminated into the limbs where the ILF joint is. Otherwise, the limbs to tip is very thin which seem to not be able to have any thickness of wood included. So if a wood laminated limb is what you are looking for, don't buy this ILF bow. The tiller was positive at 3/16" and the string to limb was center aligned for top and bottom limbs. No adjustments needed. The included string's twists had the brace height at 8"....but no nock locator! Nock locator is not included, so you cannot use it out of the box. I would not recommend this bow for a new archer wanting their 1st bow. A regular screw-on take down recurve bow would be simplier to use, especially if string is pre-nocked, arrows and accessories included. A wooden riser may also be lighter. After shooting different arrow lengths with different tip weights, I felt the bow performed well. I was able to stay within a 60cm target at 30 meters (still a novice archer). I did install a magnetic arrow rest and a plunger. The bow could be quieter with some kind of limb silencer.

Nice Bow Overall
The product was well packaged. The bow is well made. Fit and finish is nice. I had read a couple bad reviews on fitting the limbs into place. I had no issues. Happy overall. However, one negative. These are 30lbs limbs but they draw 25. Maybe I should have gotten the 35pound limbs. Not a bad product at all just a lighter draw weight than I ordered
