Get this kite!
I bought my husband this kite for Christmas, he had not seen dual-line kites but liked single-lined kites as a kid. We took the kite out and got it up right away. The kite was responsive to steering and we were both able to fly it our first time. We did replace the string with longer string because so the kite would go up higher. The kite was easy to set up and has sustained numerous crashes. At the last outing, another kite's string collided with this kite, and the bridle string broke. My husband called the company and they were very nice and mailed him a replacement the same day. The quality, fun, and service are well worth the price!

Great kite, good for kids who are willing to practice
We bought it for kids, but I really enjoy flying it myself :) This kite is definitely harder to fly than those simple kites with a single line. Based on our experience, it was too hard for kids 3-4 years old, but fine for 6+ y.o. who are patient enough to practice a bit. Kids crashed the kite nose down many times before they learned how to control it! The kite survived, only got a bit dirty. It was on a grass field though, it could have been a different story on a harder surface. The work kids put in payed off - every next flight got longer, up to a few minutes in the air after just an hour of practice. Recommend it to everyone.

Not a light wind kite
Takes some finesse to fly this kite. Light wind or gusty is difficult. I put a tail on it to help stabilize it but when the wind faded it fell out of the sky. WAITING For a steady wind to try it again.

All in all a fun time!
I bought this kite for a weekend camping trip on the beach. Firstly, I'm not a professional and this was only my second time ever flying a stunt kite. Assembly was fast and easy. On the day I decided to fly the kite the wind was at a less than modest 3-6mph. Needless to say it took some patience to get it flying. I crashed it a few times but everything held up nicely. The nose which usually takes the most damage during a crash is made of a knitted polyester, and faired very well to my unwanted nosedives. Once in the air with good wind behind my back the kite handled well and for a "newbie" it was easy to get use to. My only complaint is that the string it comes with frays easily. But I was flying on a beach that had shrubbery so when I crashed it got tangled in them. So avoid getting the strings caught up in anything if you want them to last. Lastly, I found that this kite works well if you have decent wind behind your back, otherwise get a bigger kite...which is what I'll be getting the next time I go to the beach!

A great stunt kite for a great price
This is a great beginner/intermediate stunt kite! I'd never flown a stunt kite before, and I picked this up before heading to the shore for a week-long vacation. Make sure you watch some tutorial videos online (as I did) because the documentation that comes with the kite is minimal. But the kite itself is great! I was doing loops within the first 10 minutes and a pretty decent figure-eight within a half-hour. I flew it four times, for an hour each time, and it held up through a few hard landings (okay, crashes) when I tried to get too fancy. I was able to get it up and going even on days with low wind. If you have some stunt kite experience and you're trying to improve your tricks, I'm sure you know better than to buy a kite like this. But if you are new to the world of stunt kiting and want to give it a try, this kite is totally worth it!

Control kites 101 landing without crashing
Fly the kite in a horizontal direction. Start walking towards the kite to slow it down. Pull control to make the kite go vertical, all the while walking towards the kite and it should touch down gently in the vertical position. Have fun and be safe as children love chasing low flying kites.😎

Disappointment
Very disappointed with this kite. I purchased it for my daughter for Easter and while it did assemble very easily its stability was awful. Numerous tries to only have it spin uncontrollably in circles as soon as you let it go. Strings were even, untangled, and had it extended to which the instructions stated. I think the bridals are inconsistent with one another and I wasn't about to spend the time to undo the knots and readjust it. Bottom line, never got a single decent flight but did have one disappointed daughter.

Flies well - not durable
If you have ever flown a stunt kite before you know hard crashes are inevitable. Because of this, these kites require durable and flexible material for crooks and support poles. That’s not the case with this kite. After a relatively ‘soft crash’ the lower spreader and stand-off poles splintered. Amazingly, we could still get it to fly but I’d recommend another brand of same cost but more quality materials - there are a lot out there!

She’s small the wind sends it into the ground.

This was a great purchase, I learned to fly with it and my kids and I have crashed it loads and it's held up very well. I've yanked it out of tree's and ponds and it kept on flying. FYI - dual line kits can be hard to learn to fly (Some peoples reviews! LOL )

fun little kite This is a great into to dual line stunt kites. The lines are the only thing I would change but not necessarily right away. They are fine but they stretch a bit so the kite is not as responsive as it could be, so a new set might be something to consider if you want to stay with it. I've found that it needs a steady 15kph to really get going but given the right wind it's fast and predictable. And very sturdy. I've crashed it many times and it's still going strong. It could be a fun thing to do at the beach every once in awhile, or, like me, this could be the little guy that got you "hooked" on the sport. Either way, this is a good deal for $20

Quite difficult to fly very not clear instructions.

No for a beginner. It is a small kite so it makes turns extremely fast.
