A must-have if you're a Beast Wars / Transformers collector!
This figure has an excellent articulation and it comes with a variety of weapon accessories that work very well in both beast and bot modes. The plastic quality feels solid overall, and the transformation goes very smoothly. The manual wasn’t very helpful in my case, but your experience may vary. The box includes a pretty cool diorama that you can use for some great-looking photos! I’d give this figure an 8/10. I received everything exactly as described from the seller, and the box arrived almost impeccable despite traveling a long distance. I’m very satisfied with my purchase.

Prime Optimus primal right here!
This should be on every collector shelf. This hands-down is the coolest Optimus primal I have ever purchased pretty close to another one I own, but this one has the most weapons, craftsmanship, color, quality, and price. Thank you.

MAXIMALS MAXIMIZE 🦍🐆🦏
*Warning, long and detailed review* Despite him not being a "leader" size and not having a battle mask. This is the BEST Optimus Primal figure to have. Articulation: The articulation in robot mode is pretty top notch! You can pull off so mang dynamic poses. However, in his beasts mode, his legs don't have much articulation especially his feet. I wish they added tilted feet on his beast mode. But still you can pull off some cool poses if you work your way around it. At least you can make him do that running pose where Primal charges into battle with Optimus Prime and the others (shown on image) Scale: Despite him not being a leader scale class but rather a Voyager scale, he scales pretty well with the others. To me, he goes well with his Maximals, Autobots, and Terrorcons. Accessories (chains) The Accessories for this figure is fun and enjoy ESPECIALLY the chains! While I was playing with this figure, everybody knows that you can use the chains for Battletrap in his robot mode but you can also use it in his vehicle form (though I don't recommend it because it looks a bit weird). HOWEVER, did you know you can also use the chains for SS-102 OPTIMUS PRIME! Just fold his hands in and insert the chains into that small port and You got Prime using the chains. You can make him pull off AMAZING AND DYNAMIC POSES. Imagine this happening in a live action film to me I think its an AWSOME IDEA! You can see Optimus Prime using Primals chains on the photos I've taken. Transformation: The transformation through robot mode to beast mode is not overly complex and stressful but instead fun, complex and simple once you get the hang of it. Although I recommend you push his ape fingers further down until it clicks in when your transforming him into robot mode. Overall: He is the BEST Optimus Primal figure to have! Get him before he gets expensive! I assure you, you'll have no regrets once you get him in hand. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS FIGURE if you want a fun and playable Optimus Primal figure!

MAXIMALS, MAXIMIZEEEEE!!!!
The figure is fantastic, very solid and satisfying feel in the hand and all the weapons it comes with are a great value and enhance the options you have with it. Definitely one of my favorite studio series figures to date and i cant wait to see the improvements if they release a masterpiece of this. My only gripe is i wish he had face swap option to have full mast as that was how he was during his robot mode scenes in the movie but the head sculpt is still amazing none the less. Definitely worth the money and will be a fine addition to any collection… only problem is now i feel compelled to get the full squad, *sighs (opens wallet) IMPORTANT: I had to replace my figure though due to an issue where it had 2 left shoulders so when you get it check to make sure everything transforms properly, and that there are no errors like mine.

Looking Prime!
Primal is beautifully detailed as one would expect a Studio Series figure to be. He looks perfectly at home when displayed with movie-verse figures and doesn't look half bad with some beast wars-era figures and has ample articulation for a variety of poses in robot mode and in beast mode. He comes with his iconic twin scimitars (which can actually fit into a 1996 Beast Wars Primal's hands), a decent-looking war axe, a junky little chain that looks like it would break if you sneezed on it, and a little key that I think is supposed to be the Matrix or the Allspark or something.

My son loved it
Superb quality. It takes a lot of steps to transform and it took us quite a while but it has a really sturdy looking build, nice weapons and very good looking details
