Works as it should, easy to install!

Simple installation, wired it up to my boat and never had a single issue, looks good and works well.

Easy to read even on the brightest of days. Easy installation. For the price it's a good gauge. Will definitely purchase again for other projects.

The online instruction (identified as 106-00169-01-ECH) identify that this unit should be able to be reprogrammed for both direction of needle movement and range of motion (full up/full down). The unit I received had different instructions (identified as 106-00152-03-ECH) which permitted only reprogramming the direction of needle only, not the range of motion. Useless for me - only 25% of range for the full trim range of my Mercruser Bravo III. I tried to program using the online instructions but that does not work. Only programs the way the included instructions say. Returning this unit tomorrow. It does look just like the picture, and looks to be well made, but is useless to me if I cannot have the full range indicated on the gauge.

This gauge can adjust for sender orientation. When I first installed, the gauge showed movement in the opposite direction of the actual engine movement (gauge showed movement down when engine went up, and visa versa). Following the directions provided, I changed the gauge's direction mode so that the gauge and engine movement matched (gauge showed movement up when engine went up). Gauge working well with my mercury 115 EFI 4 stroke.
