I purchased this for my NVG50 ..its works perfect

So this would not support much movement of NVG with any type of weight associated to them but I'm using for a white light mount. For use with a nitecore HC65M this works great. Band is thick, adjustable low snag velcro for tightness with leather like junction reinforcement.

So if you are looking at this, you probably looked at the Crye Night Cap and said "Whoa, nearly $100 and I still need to buy a shroud??" and then decided to cheap out and buy this. Don't. This is the single most uncomfortable NV rig I have ever worn. The stitching on the fake leather that holds the shroud is terrible, and will scratch up the front of your head. Adjustment is terrible, and highly limited. Even at max settings I could never get a good adjustment so I could wear my NODs comfortably. With my Wilcox mount maxed, the NODs were still pushed directly into my eye socket. On top of that, there is no weight or adjustments on the back of the strap, so simple movements cause the nods to sway to the point that you cannot even walk with this on. STAY A WAY FROM THIS. This isnt even airsoft quality - it's just trash. Returning this to Amazon today.

The price point is nice, but that’s about it. I wouldn’t get mad at the material because it’s to be expected at around $20, but my biggest problem was that the bands kept wanting to slide up my head when I tried to adjust it to my head. Like some other users say, it’s probably meant for a head mounted lamp or camera that’s very light. A good improvement that could be made for it is having an additional chin strap and rear nape strap. I wouldn’t recommend this but it’s very cheap if you need something like this.

If you want to put heavier optics on the front, just tape or secure and counter weight to the back of this and your good to go.

Headband works great for light items and normal movements. In other word, don’t think you can strap on night vision goggles and go running around. Put a small light or camera on and walk around all you want.

Mounted a PVS14 to this and tried to wear it. The only way it would stay put was if I didn't move my head at all. The elastic is too narrow and weak, it should've been heavy-duty.
