Campbell's Homestyle New England Clam Chowder Soup, 16.3 oz Can

The taste is a little flat which can easily be corrected with black pepper or in my taste dry ranch seasoning. There's a decent amount of bits of clam. This is a delicious soup out of a can.

The absolute best canned New England clam chowder my husband and I have ever eaten! Seriously YUMMY and we will keep it on hand. Great job, Campbell's!! Finally a canned soup that doesn't taste like one and one that tastes authentic. Darn close to homemade. Add a bit of butter and black pepper to make it even better.

Delicious! Our family has been purchasing this brand for decades. It is a good quality brand that has been around for a long time. My Dad just loves this newer "Home Style" version. This is now his favorite, favorite clam chowder. I have found that it is very difficult to find in our local stores, so, when I saw that Amazon is now offering it, I was thrilled. Fair price. Would definitely recommend this product to others. Thank you!

Potato Chowder? Where are the clams? It is nice and thick and has good flavor but you'd be hard pressed to find any clams

OMG - this soup is *incredible*! I am a long-time fan of their New England Clam Chowder - but it is condensed, and very heavy on the salt. In addition, it just tastes like what it is - someone decided adding clams to condensed potato soup and calling it "clam chowder" was a good idea. And it was typical of canned soup - over-salted, improperly seasoned, little potato chunks that chewed like, I dunno, plastic? Hard, almost not done. Then I found this - holy socks. What an enormous difference! Remarkably well-seasoned (read that - I can heat and eat it straight from the can without having to help it become edible), potato chunks that chew like potatoes you would cook for potato salad or mashed - not hard little rocks. More than just cream of potato soup with clams added. I got little bits of onion, pepper, the perfect creaminess. This is NOT a condensed soup. This is a single-serving meal, add crackers, a cup and a spoon. Give us more stars, I'd give them to this soup.

Hi...i've had many varieties of new england clam chowders...Snow's, Progesso, etc...this one is the best...If you saute shrimp or scallops in a pan then remove and use same pan to heat soup, makes it better...also like to boil celery 10 minutes in the pan first, then set aside, then add to soup....Get some if your a fan of chowder...good consistency thickness flavor
