This weighted stuffed animal is excellent quality and has become a favorite for my daughter, particularly for cuddling during nap time. I have also found it helpful personally when seeking gentle, calming pressure while relaxing. The soft material, evenly distributed weight, and medium size make it well-suited for both children and adults. The product has held up well over nearly five months of regular use. My only consideration is that the arm seams may experience additional strain, as my daughter frequently lifts it by one arm, which places most of the 5 lb weight on that area. This does not reflect negatively on the overall quality, but is simply something to be mindful of when handling. I also love that they can be washed!

I’m a 33 year old woman with anxiety and insomnia. I’m not ashamed to admit that stuffed animals help when I’m trying to sleep or calm down. This weighted stuffie is probably the favorite one I have now. He is soft, cute, and the perfect size and weight for an adult. I think this is worth every penny. It’s sturdy and think it’ll last a long time. I like that the weighted insert can be removed in order to wash the shell. I would like to get more soon.

Stevie is so soft and cozy. Weighted perfectly so it feels like a newborn baby. His arm and legs are also weighted and his arms fit around your neck so it feels like a real hug. My 7 year old son loves stuffed animals but this is by far his favorite. Great quality, shipped fast. After receiving ours, I bought stevie for family members as well.

My autistic son loves it; it helps him fall back asleep. He's been using it for two years now, and every time he wakes up at night, he hugs it. Thanks to its weight, he feels comforted and falls back asleep easily. I love this plush toy; it's easy to wash. You just take out the weighted bag, and that's it. My son loves it.

Pros: * Fantastic Weight: The pressure is evenly distributed and feels very grounding. It’s perfect for anxiety relief or relaxing on the couch. * Cute Aesthetic: The design is exactly as pictured and very endearing. Cons: * Material Softness: The fabric is okay, but it lacks that "cloud-like" plushness you find with brands like Hugimals. It’s a bit more standard than premium. * Scratchy Details: The stitching on the eyes and mouth is quite stiff. If you have sensitive skin or like to cuddle your weighted plush close to your face, the embroidery can feel itchy and irritating. Final Thoughts: I really want to love this 100%, but the tactile experience isn't quite there yet. If the manufacturer switched to a softer fabric and used "minky" or printed details instead of stitching, this would be the best weighted plush on the market. Still a solid 4-star purchase for the weight alone!

I love my weighted stuff toy, Dexter! He's very cute! The plush is lush, the weight is great! I appreciate that the extremities are also weighted! He's the perfect size too! SUGGESTION: make a version of this toy that offers a heartbeat and/or the sound of a sleeping, snoring dog, that would be awesome! 👍

Over this Christmas weighted stuffed animals is what I got my grandchildren, my husband and myself. I bought several brands with items priced from 29.99 - 64.90. This one was one of the least expensive but it is the one I use the most for sleeping. I have a very bad habit of sleeping with my arms over my head or worse sleeping on my arm. This has caused severe shoulder issues and very painful tendinitis in my bicep. If I sleep with this thing on my hip, I naturally want to cradle it with my arms instead of raising them. Even my expensive Brease bear doesn’t work as well for this as this Callie cat does. The weight is distributed evenly in the body and feet and the hands and feet are long enough to hold with my hand in the right position to help with my arthritis. If I had to choose between this one or my bear, I would keep this one - not because it is half the price, but because it is more essential to a good night sleep. I bought this one to help me sleep, but would also be fine for kids 3+. Plus, it is one of the few that can be washed in the washing machine. I like that the eyes are embroidered so there isn’t anything hard on it. The fur on these is really short. I usually prefer this to plush stuffed animals and it feels good in any direction you want to pet it. Plus, they don’t get as hot as the ones with plush fur which can inadvertently bring on a hot flash. The only con is that the closure for the removable insert is closed with Velcro. I have never opened it, but still sometimes, I can feel the Velcro poke at me when I am holding it. I will likely be removing that Velcro and replacing it with something softer. Even buttons would be better than the feel of Velcro. However, if you have tactile sensitivity like me and can’t sew unlike me, I don’t know how much any closure is needed. The foam used in these is quite stiff, the stuffie has a structured shape, and the removable stuffing is contained so it won’t spill out. I would definitely buy this again.

I got this dear little fellow for my Mum. She has dementia and most gifts are forgotten or misunderstood very quickly but she absolutely adores this little character. And he really is a character! That face of his is impossible to see without smiling back at him. His weight makes him comparable to a human baby and as the mother of six and a former nurse and Midwife this really strikes a chord with her. She instinctively picks him up and holds him like a baby in her arms, cooing encouragement and gentle murmurings to him all day. She barely cares what is on TV now, only that the bear is comfortable. Having his name on his neckerchief really helps, too. I can ask how he is and if she doesn't recognise the name well, no problemo, it's right there to show her. The fur is superbly tactile, she loves gently stroking his head and feet and I totally agree with her. He is beautifully put together. Even though she suffers from paranoid episodes when everyone seems against her she remains convinced that this little chap is on her side. His face holds no subtle suggestion of cheekiness or naughty intention, he simply looks really happy and pleased to see you. Even though his eyes are stitched, not plastic replicas, he has a genuine gaze and conveys comfort and support. He really is hard not to greet with a smile of your own. I honestly can't thank the creators enough for this transformational toy. I am sure he would be enjoyed by young children but he is of such excellent quality he really suits older people who appreciate the material and the design. I have started leaving little notes for Mum in his arms and because of the long length and weight of them he really seems to be holding the notes and it never fails to make her smile. "Hello, will you be my Mummy?" Is a firm favourite. He has made her days (and by association, mine too) much more bearable and even enjoyable. For a child, a dependent or even for yourself this delightful little bear is definitely worthy of a good home. Worth every penny.
