They are well built.. there is nice Weight to them. They are not too heavy but they are made with steel so they have a nice weight and they are built very durable. Both the trimmer and the clippers cut through your hair like a hot knife through butter. They are very powerful so they cut through my thick hair like nothing. Very few times do I have to make another pass. So cutting your hair or doing manscaping on other parts of your body is so easy and effortless. These things save a lot of time. The trimmer is amazing it shaves down to pretty much baldness. The only issue I have (and its a very small issue) and I am sure other clipper sets have this same issue... the trimmer starts heating up after like 45 minutes of use. I mean 45 minutes is a long time though. So speaking of 45 minutes... the battery on these things Is amazing. They last for a long time. I cut my hair six or seven times before I need a charge. They last for hours. The lED display is awesome. Oh one more thing. The only real issue that I have that I wish these had was... they are not water proof. It would be nice to manscape in the shower. But once you see these and feel them you'll realize they can't be waterproof. They are built with such sophistication.

For a long time, I was a Wahl man. My grandfather was fiercely loyal to the brand, and for many years, so was I. My last three Wahl products, however, have been very disappointing. The quality that we both grew up with is no longer there. I decided to take a chance on another brand for my clippers, and settled on this one. The set looked very reasonable for the price. My tastes are pretty simple, and I favor function over form all day. Honestly, all this set has to do is outlast my previous ones and I’ll be happy. Much to my surprise, the clipper gives me the smoothest cut I’ve had in a long time. I shave my whole head, and the blades are never rough or abrasive. The clipper is hefty without being bulky or obnoxious, and the grip is nice and comfortable in my hand. The trimmer is likewise of good quality. I can contour and maintain my full beard easily with it. Both devices have a built-in numeric power remaining indicator. After three full sessions, I expected the power to be around 60 to 70% on the clipper. I just finished my third cut and it is currently at 89% power remaining. Because of this, I can’t really assess the charging speed, simply because I haven’t had to do it yet. These are of course initial recommendations and the real test will be how it performs three years later. Since we can’t yet time travel, you will have to do with this stellar review. Highly recommended.

As a professional hairstylist I really do like the clippers and trimmers, they work very well. Very easy to use. Good weight to them, so clippers and trimmers do value the money. The sizes are good. They really cut hair and trim the neck hair as it expected. It cut really great. I don’t have nothing to say about that. The charging cords are different, I had to use my charging blocks to plug the cords in, to charge the clippers and trimmers. I wish they added more clipper combs. Clipper combs 5-8 wasn’t in there. So I had to use my old clipper combs.

Great product. Easy to use. A little heavy on the main clippers but probably a battery pack in it since they are cordless.

My ex-wife used to buy me Whal Conair wired hair trimmers, when it was time for new ones. This go-around, like most things in my life these days, we are doing my life, on my terms. So I spent a little more but I read the reviews and these devices were so well received and so cool looking. You can imagine my pleasure to find that these are two top notch professional grade trimmers. They are a joy to work with and can do things that my old ones just couldn't. Please let me wax a bit of geek for you here too. I like, many Star Trek fans have taken to actor Anson Mount's haircut as the character Captain Christopher Pike. I have thought about going to get my hair done like his, but really have had designs on getting a new hair trimmer that could do a bit more demanding style than I usually have done and give it a try myself. These trimmers are just what I needed to do exactly that. You might say that my hair cut is inspired by Anson Mount's & Maybe the mid 1980's look of Don Johnson's character, Sonny Crocket from Miami Vice. I was a bit concerned that the set didn't have attachments in size 5,6 & 7 ...but when doing my do, I didn't use anything longer than the number four, so there you go. I would have liked to seen a pair of reasonable quality hair cutting scissors included. I brought my "over the ear" "left" & "right" attachments from my previous set to the session. Thank goodness I didn't throw anything but the old clippers away. I really think they should have had some included. I notice that there is no oil included and kinda' wonder what type I am supposed to use or if these need to be oiled. Anyway... I love these trimmers. So well weighted and do what clippers are supposed to really well. Like I said above. A real joy to use.

Both set cut very good straight out the box
