This collection includes issues #33 to #40 and the Bad Guys miniseries. I really enjoyed the more lower stakes but fun stories, especially the one with Cream, Rouge, and Amy hanging out together (an underrated trio) to enjoy a Chao race. Reminded me of how desperately I want the Chao Garden to come back in a video game. The Bad Guys was also a really solid miniseries, I'm surprised how much it got me to like Zavok considering that I really don't care at all for him in the games. The writers on this series have really shown that they're great for Sonic in my opinion. I'm excited to read IDW Collection Vol. 5 in March. The book itself is really nice, it feels very comfy in the hands and reads well. Love that Dr. Eggman is on the cover of this one. IDW has really knocked it out of the park with these IDW Collections in my opinion, they collect just enough issues to be a satisfying read (without feeling bloated like some omnibus or compendium books can get) while also having a great form factor. Got this for my daughter for Christmas. It is the 4th book in the collection. She loves them all and reads and rereads these graphic novels. Her only complaint was that she didn’t want Eggman on the cover! 🤣
